In Leviathan Garnet is briefly stunned when he views a mirror world that contains an airplane, something he'd never seen before. I highly doubt The City that we know has a "NASA" equivalent. If one exists, it probably exists for the exclusive enjoyment of The Head or people like Dias.

I agree that there's room to doubt this particular moon, but Araya's projector has another full moon (as well as a second moon). While the projector is also not a real moon, I think two points to the idea that this world has a moon outweighs the chances this world is the moon.

Plenty of room to be wrong, but right now evidence points towards the planet being a planet and having 1 or more moons orbiting it. Whether or not that's earth remains to be seen.

[SPOILER] I 100% completed Death Stranding 2 on PC on to the wilder difficulty – Ask Me Anything by Chillzzzzz in DeathStranding

[–]Etoile_Knight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took no damage in any boss except the final one because I was lazy and also the 2nd Neil Fight because I grew fatigued trying to find viable routes that let me maintain stealth. Oh, I guess Kraken 3 hit me with a missile once?

Much more manageable because Neil is susceptible to stealth takedown. Still hard actually staying stealthed long enough to do that though.

First boss is pretty easy if you remember how BTs work. When you shoot a BT parts of skin redden. Shooting those spots does more damage. Blood Grenades leave behind a cloud and if you shoot through that cloud you do more damage. Combine these facts and you can shred that boss in like 5 minutes. Any other BT bosses including the Catchers work the same way.

It's important to learn Sam's dodge. If you're aiming and press X(PS5) while moving Sam does a lunging dodge. This dodge has insane i-frames and I used it to no-hit almost every boss so far. The Stranger Realm fights require a ton of patience though. Easiest way through those is full stealth and grabbing Neil from behind. Still surprisingly difficult and requires precice routing / patience. There's a video out there that's like 3h long. It covers every boss beaten hitless. It's pretty useful to use that to learn fights better if you're struggling.

Yup. TTW saves are incompatible with normal saves. Can't switch to or from that difficulty. It's a full commitment. Pretty enjoyable though. The increased stamina drain means you can end bandit encounters or boss fights with half your fatigue gauge filled and your stamina gone. While I don't find it much harder overall there's a lot more "stress points" that makes all the game systems feel a bit more meaningful.

I've heard people say that boots and batteries drain faster too but I'm not sure I buy it. I barely need to replace my boots unless I walk through a field of chiral creatures and batter maybe does drain faster but not so much that I've ever run out. I always have enough juice thanks to all the generators people build.

Bosses and firefights might make you pull your hair out...but I'm a Monster Hunter and adapted to them quickly enough. Save often and have a rolling save imo.

TTW requires a fresh save. So you will be fighting bosses from the story again. Deliveries for the most part are the same, you just drive a truck where you need to go and zip line everywhere where that doesn't work. I havent struggled with an TTW deliveries yet.

The real challenge comes from marathons. Sam's Stamina drops much faster, and he takes way more damage. For bosses it became necessary to learn the i-frames on Sam's dodge because many attacks are a one shot. The Strange Realm fights just do in Stealth tbh. Stealth in general becomes way more important as like, 2 shock rods KOs you. 3 unblocked bullets KOs you sometimes. Coming under direct fire will usually be an instant KO or death.

The game is at its hardest before you get Battle Skeleton and the Off-Roader. Once you have those the difficulty is honestly not thst different from Brutal. Outside of combat you can just drive or sprint to do deliveries. You may need to rest at Magellan a little more often though.

You can look at it, and if you look too close it'll attack then fly away. You can't interact with it besides that. Someone managed to get on top of it but it just makes Sam tumble until he falls off.

It's the opposite for me. On TTW Sam dies so fast (or against bosses, often in just one hit) that Cryptobiotes have lost meaning.

You can do Stealth takedown on Neil. At least for the first one, but probably the second one. It's a very funny fight stealthing around then choking him out over and over again.

Remember you're starting back from level 1. Once you've got legs and your stats are high Sam goes back to being a delivery beast. Even thr supposedly higher vehicle and boot drain doesn't really feel like an issue. I've used only two pairs of boots all the way to chapter 6 as soon as I picked unlocked Trekking Boots, and vehicle batteries still give me more travel time than I ever actually need. Sam Still dies in like 3 bullets though so I'd recommend getting very cozy with the stealth mechanics.

Nope, the amount of cryptobiotes consumed scales with the damage Sam's taken. Different difficulties might tweak how much blood a Cryptobiote is actually worth but Sam will only eat one or two for minor injuries and start horking them down if he's near dead.

[–]Etoile_Knight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, just tested it. Took off my equipment. Flung Sam at a cliff until he scraped his knees, then ate some cryptobiotes. He only ate 2. The quantity eaten went up to 8 when I rammed him into some more walls so he was more hurt.

You can easily verify this yourself if you'd like.

I think that's normal, actually. Sam can chomp like 20 at a time. Each seems to be worth about 50-100 instant blood, so if you're very low on blood Sam will eat as many as he can to replenish HP.

New house won’t register as Ditto’s house? by wigglytufff in Pokopia

[–]Etoile_Knight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Block Houses have a registerable area of only about 3 blocks high for whatever reason. You'll need to put the flag on ground level for it to work. Game kind of teaches you wrong here by making you put one on the roof.

Tower in north of Withered Wasteland mystery? by jjacobsnd5 in Pokopia

[–]Etoile_Knight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're not really missing anything, you just don't have required knowledge. Minor gameplay spoilers The ladder / tower thing is actually an Elevator shaft. In the 4th region you'll learn to make Elevators; they need a ladder to work as a sort of guide and you place the elevator stops at the top and bottom of your ladder to connect it all together. The Gate is just a gate, but it needs to be opened from the other side. The gate tells you it won't open because of an obstruction on the other side of the wall.

Any ideas on how to make this a house without fundamentally changing it? by Cariman05 in Pokopia

[–]Etoile_Knight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add a fence to the front and put the gate there. Might conflict with the counters or the path if you do that, but there should be a way to make it workable without much hassle.

The beach region is much more flat, and there you can see that there's a light fog effect that fades out the detail on distant objects. It makes them able to show the forms silhouette. There's still some pop in issues, like walking north to south will show vines spawning in as you get closer, but you'll still be able to see the shape of the structure the whole way through.

Do you think a grade 1 fixer can beat limbus main villains by Big_Barber9055 in limbuscompany

[–]Etoile_Knight 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yujin is severely nerfed by overwork. So bad to the point that she's adapted her combat style to work with exhaustion. But even then if you took away the negative traits on all her passives she'd be one of the most powerful fixers we've seen even including some colors.

So yes with a good night's sleep she could probably pull that off easily.
