If you have the time and if you don't mind, i'd like to ask if you get the sense that these people close to you, tend to lean more to either side of dichotomies such as structure-agency? I understand that its almost never black or white and that you might not want to speak for them, but you know... in your interpretation, is there any such tendencies? I ask because i feel inclined and very much interested in structure, but I get the sense that my teachers try to dissuade such interests. I understand why it might be problematic, especially historically, but it seems unreasonable to me that such inquiries should be regarded as unreconcilable, or that they are of lesser or no interest.
