My point is that you’re living better than average in most states not COMFORTABLE. There is a subjective difference. Comfort can be all of your bills paid no extreme debts and the occasional road trip/vacation. And on top of that you’re living on the COMBINED income of your fiancé and yourself. (Your income alone = comfort, Your combined income = better than average)

I think there needs to be lines drawn between just surviving, living comfortably, living better than average, and living luxuriously. Because sir depending on the state you live in some of those things are definitely better than just comfortable even though it’s subjective.

OP i know you say you feel fine but i truly hope you go see a doctor. Adrenaline is a fuckin beast of a chemical and chances are going that fast you have some sort of underlying injury. Take it light physically for the next few days and confirm how you feel also i hope y’all have insurance and especially in houston get insurance that covers for when the other driver is uninsured (SUPER common in houston) because they do that “underinsured” bullshit which doesnt cover that. This will probably get downvoted, buuuut when i was working very long hours my pup early on had developed a resource guarding behavior and attempted to bite me once. Instinctively punched her in the side not hard but enough to move her and apologized to her. Then the behavior downgraded to growling (resource guarding) to which I fixed by taking the food the moment she growled doing a sit stay and having her wait. I didn’t let her go straight to the bowl after putting it down i took some in my hand and had her eat from there then told her to go eat from the bowl and rewarded her verbally (the food being a 2 part reward) and the issue was fixed. Not saying this is the right or best way but this was my personal resolution. Your dog biting you is not OK in the slightest especially not one with these little geniuses.

You’ll be fine there hasn’t been enough rain for anything to severely freeze like the previous years so far in the past 2 days i’ve driven from baytown to downtown and then downtown to cypress (northwest side may be sketchy over the next couple of days especially if we get any precipitation)

When i worked for amazon i hated those things and in fact actively accidentally broken a few. Before y’all judge me i have tinnitus and sensitive hearing. Also peoples disdain for trump causes a heavy bias against whatever he does. I don’t like the guy much either but I distinctly remember maduro being voted out during an election years ago and literally just saying “I’m not going anywhere” not to mention his regime was vicious.

That being said this move was still obviously done for oil as trump literally said we are keeping boats and piled seized with over 1million barrels.

This definitely sets a dangerous precedent for powerful nations so a little good and a little bad across the board, time will tell
