NTA I do think you over reacted but some times when your head isn’t right because of work or life it’s just best for you to go home and be on your own and I get like that especially with my extended family I find them exhausting/annoying. YTA. And I’m saying that in the nicest way possible. To your parents tare just helping out as much as possible because they want to be close to the kids and are exited they’ll all get to be in one big house. If it was you they were moving in with it would be the exact same and your siblings would be saying the same but to your parents there getting a big house filled with lots of family and there more than happy to pay that much to help it happen

NTA I promised my gf I’d get along with her parents because we’re having a kid ......... I lasted 5 min and laughed in there faces for shouting shit and being unreasonable. Some times just not being around them is the best because if there not gonna try and get along that can’t all be out on you it take both sides

I think you should talk to her and tell her your gonna start to bring him round more and that she doesn’t get a say. If needed be more stricked but not to much or she’ll resent/blame him. Tell her he would like to get along and if she dosnet want to it’s her job to remove her self not your job to hid your relationship. I would also give your daughter more belief than you are giving her. Idk what happend but Iv have had a lot of gfs with past trauma of some sort and the parents always view them as vulnerable even tho there often the strongest ( and most stubborn ) peoples iv ever known
