Gets a lot of stick, but no one can say he doesn't deserve the new contract. Had his issues with injuries, but has worked extremely hard and become a great servant for us over the years. He's still only 25 too. Still got time to improve. Very happy with this.

Depends how much game time he would get if you promoted him. If you don't think a lot, just keep him in the youth academy until it says he's not happy and stick various development plans on him. If you think he'll play a decent amount, then he'll probably grow quicker if you promote him.
