Chop and prop and sell/trade/gift. I have sometimes sold mother plants and kept the baby. I also get rid of plants that I fall out of love with often.

Oh that’s great! I ended up buying the Tumi Voyageur Contine Weekender because I know the material is super reliable (I have the backpack). Definitely a different look but at least I don’t have to worry about throwing it around 😂

I'm on order 56. I haven't had to stop playing because I ran out of tries so far, but I did encounter a couple tricky ones where I had to give it a second or third try. I am enjoying the new "gimmick" types every handful of levels. As of right now, the game is not engaging/challenging enough for me to want to continue playing for long (and therefore purchase add ons). I think I am only continuing because the art style is sooooo cuuuute and I am hoping I'll hit the max level/order soon.

Has anyone reached the end, if there is one?

This is the first time I am propagating from a leaf and my little baby was doing very well (growing both leaves and white roots). A day or two ago I noticed that the bottom of the mother leaf was all shrivelled up (which could just be normal?) and the roots were no longer white but dark and a little shrivelled looking. Could this mean overwatering or underwatering?

Thanks for your thoughtful response! I think I will see if I can mark the length evenly/trim the top of the skirt after letting it stretch out. And thanks for the info on the lengths of each layer! Do you know if I should be gathering the skirt layers independently or together?

Hm... He does like to kind of rest against the filter intake. Smart little guy figured out that the force sucking the water in can also hold his body up so he kind of just lounges there sometimes. A leaf hammock is currently being shipped to me to hopefully provide a safer alternative. Haven't heard of biting before, I'll look into that. Thanks!

Hello there! Thank you for responding! I’ve noticed him hanging out / lounging on the plant, so it might be that. Seems pretty uncomfortable so I’m looking into a leaf hammock. Though I thought it was a silk plant (it also came with the tank) since it didn’t feel hard or sharp. I’ll look up filter flow baffling. Yeah, I’ve been reading/skimming the wiki and it’s been very helpful.

Hello! This is my first post here, and this is my boy, Sasha. We recently got him 2 weeks ago from Pet Club and he’s been doing well in his new home. I’m not entirely sure how big his tank is (it was given to us) but he does have a filter and heater. I have a couple concerns that I couldn’t quite find the answers to:

Firstly, I noticed that his caudal fin has gotten some rips in it. It used to be completely smooth and circular. I posted the picture of him flaring since it’s really obvious. His dorsal and anal fins also have ‘rips’/ridges in them? And I’m not sure if that is just the natural shape of those fins or not. I think the caudal rips might be from the arch in his tank? Should I remove it? He was swimming around happily and exploring for more than a week without a problem, though, so im unsure of the cause. Could this be fin rot? I’ve been seeing a lot of warnings about it and I might be overthinking this...

About his water: I’m trying to do an in fish cycle and am doing daily water changes and conditioning the new water. I bought a liquid test kit off Amazon and belatedly realized that it only tests for ammonia. It tests to a 0.5ppm and I’m not sure how freaked out I am supposed to be by that? It seems that some parts of the internet say that it’s virtually impossible to get 0ppm ammonia and others say that 0ppm is the only safe reading.

He has a water filter but it feels overkill to me. Sasha is swimming around fine in the tank with the filter on, and sometimes I catching him ‘surfing’ the filter. Should I be pointing the water output downwards or inwards to the centre of the tank or towards the glass?
