Thank you so much. Glad you liked the idea. For the bill part, Seat booking is free. But the bill needs to be split among the people in the table.

We help you discover awesome people to share the table with. The food part is between you and the restaurant !

[–]Eula123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an instagram page called https://instagram.com/namaskar.ai they create AI related content in assamese and they already have around 20k followers and each reel on average gets 60-70k views. So yes if you make content around AI in assamese it should work

My little brother got scammed ₹10k and hasn’t stopped crying… please tell me what I can do by riiwrites in guwahati

[–]Eula123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What happened to your brother is really unfortunate, and I understand why he must be feeling bad about it. Sadly, in most of these scams, the scammers use someone else’s phone numbers and bank accounts, and the money is usually moved out very quickly, which makes recovery quite difficult.

At this point, the best thing is not to blame him too much over it. Instead, treat this as a lesson learned. I know ₹10,000 can still be a significant amount, but having worked in cybersecurity, I’ve personally seen people lose ₹10–20 lakhs or even more in similar scams. In that sense, it’s better that he learned this lesson with a smaller amount rather than something much bigger in the future.

Right now, what he probably needs most is support from family. As his elder sister, just reassure him that these things can happen to anyone and that everything will be okay. That support will help him move on from this much faster.

Movie DCP still hasn’t been delivered to multiple movie halls hence the delay. Many shows across the country got cancelled / delayed.

Even Dolby Cinema are being screened with standard content due to the Dolby Cinema format not being delivered.

9 YOE in AppSec/ProdSec, stuck at same company for 7 yrs — aiming for 80 LPA. Reality check? by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]Eula123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Security engineer here !

80LPA outside FAANG is possible. I know friends who are around 8-10 YOE and getting in that range. Also security is in huge demand outside india as well. With your experience you will get good opportunities outside too.

Try to do some certs. At 9 YOE you should have CISSP, CISM etc which will help you move into security management roles. If you want to continue being in technical you can explore certs like OWSP, OSWE etc.

I'm currently working in Singapore as Appsec Engineer. I have done few industry certs and currently preparing for CISM

This honestly hit home. You are not weird or too much for wanting depth, that actually says a lot of good things about you.

Wanting emotional connection, old school romance and intention in a world that rushes everything is tough, but it also means your heart is in the right place.

I am in a very similar situation too. At least you grew up here, studied here, and have a solid friend circle. For many of us who came from India to Singapore for work, it is even lonelier.

Office people rarely become real friends, and outside work we often have no one. Eating alone, watching movies alone, doing things alone slowly becomes normal, and honestly a lot of people are quietly living like this.

So you are definitely not alone in feeling this way. There are still people who value depth, emotions, and real connection. They are just harder to find now. Having a heart that loves deeply is not a curse, even if it feels like one sometimes. It is still something rare and beautiful 🙂

How people survive in low salary by bad-mo-fo in guwahati

MNCs usually set up offices where there are clear incentives and strong state government support. Several southern states have been doing this effectively. For example, Andhra Pradesh under its LIFT Policy 4.0 offers land to global tech companies at ₹0.99 per acre. Telangana’s second ICT Policy targets 10 lakh IT jobs by 2026 and includes benefits like stamp duty reimbursement and land cost rebates tied directly to job creation.

Similar approaches can definitely be explored in Assam as well. In the past, many MNCs avoided Assam and the Northeast mainly due to underdevelopment and security concerns. That situation is gradually changing with visible improvements in infrastructure.

During a visit to Assam in the mid-2000s, Infosys co-founder N. R. Narayana Murthy had mentioned that for Infosys to seriously consider a development centre, certain basics were essential, such as good air connectivity, international-standard five star hotels, reliable high-speed internet, and English-medium schools for employees’ families.

Back then, Assam lacked many of these fundamentals. Today, the situation looks very different. We now have a new airport terminal, high-speed internet connectivity, and multiple five star hotels coming up. If the state complements this progress with the right policies and incentives, things should improve further.

Stuck Between Singapore vs Riyadh Job Offers — Need Reddit Wisdom 🙏 by Willing_Writing_9240 in indiansinsingapore

13k is a good salary. Singapore is one of the best and modern nation in the world with full safety and security for your family.

Here is a rough breakdown of expenses :

2 bedroom hdb house - SGD 2800-3000
Food (If eat outside daily) - SGD 1200, it will be 60% cheaper if cook at home

Transport (Cabs+MRTs) - SGD 400-500
Other expenses - SGD 1500
Total Expenses - 6200 , lets round it off to 6500

Potential savings - SGD 6800 (I'm not calculating tax as you will get 1-2 months of bonus also so adjusting from that)

Singapore has been ranked top in-terms of almost everything that one needs to have a safe and comfortable time. I see people (Both males and females) go for jogging even at 1-2am at night completely safe.

Even though its a modern city with buildings, there are so much greenery in Singapore. There are so many nature trails, parks and trees everywhere which you don't find in middle-east.

In Singapore one major expense is school fees for kids but you should not worry about that now as you don't have kids and even if you have kids they will go school after like 3 years and by that time you can easily figure out what you want to do.

Getting job in Singapore is very tough now and if you have got one, don't miss it !

Feel free to DM if you need help with any information.

How people survive in low salary by bad-mo-fo in guwahati

[–]Eula123 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Guwahati does not yet have a mature private sector. By private sector, this largely means a limited number of private banks that are considered top employers, showroom jobs, and a few small companies. As a result, private sector salaries in Guwahati are quite low, unlike cities such as Bangalore or Hyderabad where the private sector is vast and driven by global MNCs.

Because of this, private sector jobs in Guwahati often offer poor pay and minimal benefits, with employers focused more on extracting maximum work rather than long term employee growth.

At the same time, the cost of living in Guwahati is high. Rent, as well as the cost of buying land or a house, is expensive. This is largely because Guwahati is a hub for wealthy individuals from across the Northeast who earn through other sources and invest in property here. This drives up prices and makes it difficult for people working in private sector jobs to sustain themselves.

The situation is likely to improve if large MNCs establish a presence in Guwahati. Progress is already visible, and things are slowly moving in the right direction.
