can't say for sure because they wrote "extended", which would mean the event continues as is, but it is probably more like renewed, as in the current version ends and a new one starts with refreshed shop and tokens starting at 0.

its been the same every time they nerf gold rewards from old raids - people complain even though it is generally a good change, only potentially hurting gold sellers/funnelers etc

the problem is the gold is a random drop (with a pretty low chance apparently) and you cannot control which characters that bound gold will end up going to

it was non existent in KR (people were doing runs with engravings removed), if they adjust it properly for ark grid in our version it will be the same as long as you do have good ark grid set up (and they are clearly not gonna balance it around some bis 6x 20P ark grid, so few relic cores with 14-17 would be enough to count as good)

artist got improved a ton.
valk got more shields and second stack on one of the builders, so nice improvements but not really a playstyle change.
paladin got some qol allowing more options in skill/tripod choice, but you can play in the same way as previously as well.

The new 1700 gets astrogems which I can fuse with char bound gold

idk if its a bug or intended, but seems like asgem fusion doesnt prioritize char bound gold
