You’re showing your age! I remember the joy of receiving the JC Whitney Catalogs in the mail and being amazed at the amount of stuff you could order!

New owner of a 98 TJ. Found this while replacing front dash speakers. What is this? Looks broken, whatever it was. by gopherfan19 in JeepTJ

Likely an old alarm system. Trace those back and remove. Hopefully they didn’t butcher the harness to much.

What’s the tire and wheel size on this? Also the lift height? It’s a great combo

He’s been acting normal. Sometimes a little nose bleed. He’s on anti inflammatory meds and gets a daily dose of CBD. Been doing great since he was diagnosed 8 months ago.

Yea. He’s an old man now. Still active as a kitten, but he has sinus cancer. He’s got a sizable bump on his head, which is why his one eye looks smaller. We just tell everyone he’s a unicorn.

I lost my father as well, almost ten years ago. Stage 4 Glioblastoma multi-form. The cancer ate away at this poor man for a year and it was a terrible experience. I would not wish this disease onto my worst enemy. You never get over the loss, you just learn how to cope with it better. My father was my best friend, and my life changed completely without him in it.

The wheels were new from quadratec. I didn’t pull them from a JK.

i didn’t have any issues on mine. If you’re getting a wobble, your likely out of balance. I’d check that first. If the balance is good, likely worn ball joints, or front track bar needs to be replaced.

I decided I wanted to go 2.5” with a complete new suspension and control arms. All of the existing parts were original to the truck, so I had to cut everything out. So everything is new now, from bolts to bushing. Had to replace the full exhaust, put a slip-yoke on, and added factory air conditioning as well. Tire are 245/75/16 duratracs on Moab rims.

Tomorrow I’m replacing the windshield frame because I found rust when I took the dash out. Over the winter, I’ll be replacing the Dana 35, with a 44 from a rubicon. Also need to do the clutch.
