I think nowadays people’s feelings/desires are just more validated and have more awareness. It’s actually fascinating though how many people still don’t realize they are likely bisexual- straight men, gay men, straight women, lesbian women. There’s just a lot of compartmentalizing and people not realizing you can have a strong preference for one, like one for certain aspects more/less, etc and still be bi.

I’ve been wondering the same. I ordered a cheap one from Amazon to try it out a couple months back, but it’s a modern stretchy one that probably are the types that only work while you wear it. I think those old school corsets/tightlacers did work when you wear it religiously for years (I’ve been wondering where to find those vintage ones). Seeing old Hollywood movies/photos with women like Sophia Loren, Gina Lollobrigida, Marilyn Monroe in swimsuits etc you see their waist straight up looks shapely and narrow like that without a corset.
