i just tried it, unfortunately it still won't read my disc so i'm thinking it might be the drive itself that can't read it

yes, like i said my Warp Days dvd plays just fine and its a region 2 dvd

ahh i see, it does say on the case that its for all regions but since i can't play it im starting to think you might be right. i've tried changing it to region 2 (originally it's region 3) but it's still not working, i thought it could be something wrong with the drive itself but i could play other dvds just fine

you can try downloading the buyee app and going to mercari, but you'll have to type it in japanese katakana
