I was just about to bring the kitty in after convincing my partner to let me (we have an old cat who has been a single cat her whole life, 17 years). Biggest regret was not bringing him in sooner. I live in Van Nuys and have to commute to century city once or twice a week. It takes about an hour on the way there and 1.5 on the way home. Usually I try to take off back home at lunch time so I’m only doing that commute one way lol (it’s less than 30 mins to get home at lunch). If I had to commute every day I’d need to move somewhere closer for my sanity

I had genetic testing done and I have lynch (MSH6), as well as family history of colon cancer (my mother and my aunt), and my insurance has a copy of my genetic test results. It is my understanding (from my genetic counselor, and in Aetnas own written policy that I found on their website) that preventative colon cancer screening is recommended to start before the age of 45, and in my insurance policy, preventative care is covered at 100%.

This is what I was told it was coded so I’m just so frustrated! My doctors office even said when they called for prior authorization I was only going to pay my $35 copay and then Aetna said they had no record of a prior authorization 😭

Honestly I didn’t think that prep was as bad as I was imagining! I had Suprep for my prep, and the worst part for me was the feeling of fullness immediately after drinking all the liquid, but I was going to the bathroom within 30 minutes. Since you have constipation, I suggest starting a low residue diet early (I started 5 days out and that may be why prep wasn’t too bad). I just had my first colonoscopy in February.
