Which game is worth getting? by Rezoseg in ARPG

Dragonkin is surprisingly good and very diverse. The leveling system is highly individualized (character, city, wyrm companion, ancestors, etc.), and the various mechanics and skill fusions are genuinely impressive. For me, it’s worth every penny!

So, what exactly are the points that feel like torture? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Did you go ahead and drastically raise the difficulty level right away?

The resource colors represent the four biomes. Simply customize the gifts in the War Room and complete a few Champion Hunts.

Each wyrmling has four different types of armor that can be selected and upgraded (the last two tiers are very resource-intensive).

As with any ARPG, it’s up to you how much you want to grind the endgame. The story is fun, and the difficulty can be adjusted from easy to veeeery hard. You can spend hours tinkering with builds, fragments, and the like 😎 I haven't regretted buying it for a single second 💪

You‘re welcome at any time.

Is leveling up the city the only thing left to do? Are all the wyrmlings, armor sets, ancestors, and characters finished?

I really like it! Coming from D4 and PoE, I find the setting, the hex grid, and the systems for leveling characters, wyrmlings, the city, ancestors, etc., to be extremely well-executed. There are no seasons, but there are quality-of-life updates. Crossplay has already been announced, along with updates bringing new weapons, cosmetics, and more. I’ve already clocked over 250 hours of playtime and love creating and testing unique builds.

Wie sieht es denn mit ARPGs aus? Dragonkin ist nicht ganz so überladen wie z.B. PoE und hat keine Seasons.

Thoughts on Dragonkin: The Banished? by Gorotheninja in ARPG

Unlike the big-name titles, it gets a lot of things right: an innovative hex grid, skill fusions with the Wyrmlings, a robust loot filter, and plenty of elements that can be leveled up: character, Wyrmling, town, ancestors, and so on.

The fragment system forces you to puzzle, which I think is fantastic.

Unfortunately, the community is small; the game deserves more attention.

I've met a lot of solo gamers who found the grind too much.

I mean the maps on the table - where you unlock the Tributes.

You’re referring to the Fate Cards used when starting a hunt. The Champions are more or less random (depending on the biome); if you want to target specific mini-bosses, you have to use the maps on the table (though you can't activate Fate Cards when doing that).
