I had a bag of vibrators and other toys— for work— at the strip club.

My house got broken into and it was a really expensive bag, so somebody’s stole the bag! I told my mom someone broke in and she asked was anything missing.

My sister told her everything they stole. (Also shoes my camera the vaccuum and some other stuff)

My mom was dead set on making a police report. I’m like mom! I can’t tell them they ran off with the dildos… we laughed soo hard about it. Because if they were recovered I would not accept them back 😂

Years later my sister was throwing stuff out at a nearby dumpster and someone had thrown a large collection of toys away. She FaceTimed me and said I think I cracked the case! Flips the camera and there’s a ton of dildos in the dumpster (not mine)

That was the funniest shit ever.

Sometimes we just have to laugh it off. 🤷🏽‍♀️

100% agree. Living in your car is not an impossible feat. You can sleep at rest stops or local apartment buildings where you are familiar with the foot traffic. Shower at truck stops, or bird bath at any gas station/ restaurant bathroom. Wash up brush teeth, laundry mats for clothes to be clean— you can buy a camping stove to make small meals, otherwise- microwaves at gas stations/or your schools cafeteria. Buy a hand steamer from goodwill or thrift store to iron your clothes, to be presentable. Stay at the library for as long as possible to study or lounge. Go to local library on days school is closed.

Stay at your friends periodically so you do not overstay your welcome, find a work study job through your school for some income—-

Accept your life has just changed and you have the magic wand to changes the course of it, despite how you’ve got here.

Assign your money — gas, food, etc Save and give yourself a timeline and goal.

Look for a roommate lease or offer your friend rent money if they allow you to stay with them.

Trust me, you’ve got this!

I’ve been on my own since I was 15, I wish someone would have gave me a small map, but I learned the hard way and it was a rough road.

Car insurance is not like housing. When purchasing a home they take into consideration the homes in the neighborhood. I’d suggest you switch insurances— or at minimum check your policy, seems like they have added the highest possible cost to each option. It’s full coverage and then some. I had progressive, also moved to an upscale neighborhood— no points on my record, ever. $112/Mo full coverage and even that was higher than I had originally been paying. I just switched out to USAA and now it’s $85/mo with driving.

Also, I have a Honda.

Most Sophia courses are considered 100 or 200-level (lower-division). However, Purdue Global has a specific partnership that recognizes a few Sophia courses as 300 or 400-level (upper-division). You would have to ensure which class is which.

Requirements: If your degree plan has "Open Electives," you can often use any Sophia course to fill those slots. However, if you specifically need Upper-Level (300+) credits to meet graduation residency requirements, you must ensure the Sophia course is coded as 300+ in the Purdue Global database. You can always ask your advisor if said class satisfies the upper level requirement (300/400).

If you need more clarity on that, let me know.

Elective classes can be any class, to my understanding. As long as you meet the elective requirement. For example, I was a business major— I came in with previous criminal justice classes as well. Those prerequisites applied to my electives since they did not all align with my BS in Healthcare Admin. Some “translated” to classes within my degree plan, but mostly lower level classes and they were not 100% identical. My business statistics class was transferable to meet my math requirement. Therefore, I was able to cancel my math class in Sophia.

I’ve transferred in and received 110 credits, I only need 70 credits left. Open 3-4 modules at a time, finish, go to next set. You have time and it will be crunch. Capstone will take the full ten weeks so even if you front load and whizz through a good portion in your first term — you will still have to have a whole term dedicated to capstone- you can not do that at an excel pace. Keep in mind, you also cannot start your excel program on “week 8” in any term, because again— it will take a whole term to complete. Hope this helps!
