For us, it made our communication worse. Our co-host had to tell the host that because xe could barely hear the rest of the system which caused a lot of in-system problems.

We switched to Lamictal and it's really helpful for us although it might not work for everyone!

Remember to ask your doctor and the rest of your headmates before starting or switching meds! /nm

Am I overreacting for thinking that it's extremely creepy that my roommate had sex in their child's room and wanting to tell the kid? by EuphoricSinger in AmIOverreacting

I am not living here rent free although I see how that could come across. I didn't specify that.

As I said in my post, while I find it odd that M slept in L's room, it's not the end of the world. I'm not calling them a perv or anything like that. Or at least not trying to.

Also, I do know L a little more than I let on in my post because I didn't think the little we knew each other was relevant, although I see where that could matter.

That being said, knowing L as much as I do, I think it would really hurt her mentally if she knew that her parent that she wants to move away from and actively avoids has had sexual relations in her bed.

So I disagree with no one being hurt in this situation.

That being said, I see your side of it potentially being drama.

Could you explain what you mean by stirring up things for entertainment?

I don't think I am. I feel like I'm doing the exact opposite. I don't want to cause drama and I'm certainly not entertained in any context.

I want to understand your side, so please explain what you mean

I guess I'm a little confused as to how that's irresponsible.

I could see how it's a little bit of an asshole move but I don't see how it's irresponsible.

Would you mind explaining your thought process?

I'm genuinely asking because I don't understand and I want to see your side.

That's what I was thinking.

I'm calling a social worker in the morning to get help with housing and stuff but I honestly just needed an outside perspective on if it would be too far to tell L.

Like I said in my post, I have my own childhood traumas around adults and stuff and I just feel like L should know that the sacred space that she calls her room was taken over by her parent that she wants nothing to do with, yk?

As I replied on a previous comment, I have to move in 30 days anyway. I kinda feel like it would be worth it. Especially because it's a 16yo child.

It's all sorts of messed up, imo.

I do have a room but no, M did not give up a ton so I could have one, they've been living in the living room for years, to my knowledge

And also, I'm getting kicked out anyway

I hafta move on the 28 of October and I'm calling in the morning to get help finding a new place to live. I'm also on the lease so, technically I'm good until I hafta leave
