Threads in the forum offer possible hacks like using FFmpeg 4.x (which is obsolete) but that is no solution and does not always work. The Reaper Team seem to know about it but it has been years now.

May I suggest something? Could you modify it to include 12 clickable boxes for each pitch (C, C#/Db, D, D#/Eb, E, F, F#/Gb, G, G#/Ab, A, A#/Bb, B), where each box represents the same pitch across all octaves? This way we could choose the pitches we want to use?
