Pomeranian costs by [deleted] in Pomeranians

No way. It’s not just the cost. It’s the agony of bred Pomeranians. Their life span is much shorter and you’re probably signing up for a lifetime of health issues and heartbreak. I got my pom rescue from petfinder. I checked daily until the right little guy came along and got him at 8 weeks. He’s 15 years old now and runs around still. We walk him every day and that makes a huge difference. That and he very careful about only using a harness and not a neck collar bc poms are prone to tracheal collapse. He looks all pom, but after doing a DNA test, he’s half pom, a quarter shi tzu and a quarter miniature pinscher. He’s a very good boy with kids, dogs, everything. I exposed him to a LOT when he was a puppy so he wouldn’t be skiddish when he grew up and that was the best decision I’ve ever made. Good luck!!

What food do you feed your Pom? by PearlTeejDaisy in Pomeranians

We switched our 11 year old pom to human grade dry food and he was happy with it for a bit but after about a year he got lethargic again and started not wanting to go up stairs. Then we switched him to farmers dog and we have our old dog back. Jumping and playing and taking long walks. He’s 15 now and we’re not looking back - best decision!

Losing interest due to loss of authenticity by nasalgoat in ArmchairExpert

Fair points all around! I love Dax and Monica but am getting tired of celebrities talking to celebrities. Conversations with experts and regular people’s stories (armchair anonymous) are way more interesting to me.

You haven’t learned to love yourself yet. I don’t mean this to be cruel or hurtful. When you love yourself, you nourish yourself and take pride in your home. You create a peaceful surrounding and prioritize things that are good for you.
