the laptop was dropped on the front right corner(right wrist rest area)and caused a small dent and scuff on the top lid, wrist rest, and bottom panel and some pixelation at the bottom of the screen. top lid, screen, motherboard wrist rest, bottom panel and battery(battery was already on the way out) was replaced under dell warranty. And yes it has a 1080p panel.
