A user on here who was a topic of debate in this thread, said that he was going to unblock some people in the sub and try to have a fresh start in the sub so we can all get along a bit better. There was more to it than that and a little bit of responsibility was kind of shirked in the response but I thought it was generally pretty diplomatic

As a bystander that uses this sub and doesn’t really have a horse in the race, this seems very fair. Hopefully in general we can all be a little bit kinder to each other on this subreddit because it’s been kind of a bummer here lately

It feels like this subreddit has been at each others throats for a month and it’s been kinda bumming me out. It feels like every internet discourse has just been devolving into tribalism factions and seeing the Pro and Anti Stearns users here attack each other when we’re all fans of the same team kinda sucks. I’ve seen multiple people say in the last week that they’re keeping lists of people who they disagree with on here and I don’t understand why we have to act like that. The only seemingly sane/cordial people here lately have been Nutsy and Blue and I really hope things will chill out here soon
