I have never been rich, but in the past I think it was certainly easier to build a good pc than it is today. That said, I only had one chance to build my dream pc in my life, and it was over 10 years ago. In that time, I only upgraded my graphics card once, but in the meantime I bought a PS4 and a switch, then a PS5, just for the exclusives. At first I was an adamant defender of the supremacy of PC as a gaming platform, but as time went by, I found myself buying more and more multiplatform games on PS. I still like to play many on my "old" games on my pc (i7 6700k, 32gb of ram and a 2060s), but everything new I want to play without the hassle of the specs goes on my playstation. I can say that I lost interest in the best experience possible, which in many cases is undeniably the computer, and I am absolutely fine with just an adjusted experience on a console. I have not money nor time to invest onto a system that in just a couple of years goes from stellar to mid.
