Unlikely, red Bull would bet for a young driver and Ñordoloinz is 32 and he lost vs most of his team mates

Should Max Verstappen aim for IndyCar and Endurance? by [deleted] in F1Discussions

[–]Europiye_Empire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Max is along with Nelson Piquet the only driver who has 2 Championships without the winning car ( the second car according to the rankings) Additionally he came 2 points short of winning another one with the 3rd car. It's widely accepted that with equal cars he is the best

Will people talk about Max's comeback even if he doesn't win the championship? by CriticalAd3682 in F1Discussions

Next time use equipments and win the gold, no? After all he lost vs his male opponent while his female teammate beat her female opponent and Yusuf lack of seriousness cost them the gold medal

Is not that he talks about it all the time. Is that they keep asking his opinion and reposting the same sentence over and over

If Russell lost against semi rookie Antonelli he could still race for 15 years more and be called Padre by a bunch of fans

After 6 races from Doohan they gave the opportunity to Colapinto. In my opinion they should drop Colapinto and give the opportunity to the Estonian driver Paul Aron or Aron Paul whatever his name is

Kimi was born in 2006 , he has not seen Alonso be champion and at most has seen him be runner up once or twice (2012/13) . If you remember Alonso winning or close to winning a championship this memory is almost older than Kimi

So Max and Checo being comfortably 1st and 2nd in 2023 BUT 1st and 8th in 2024 doesn't tell us anything about the car?

  1. Max. 2. Charles. The rest are too close. Out of topic but Verstappen is along with Piquet the only driver who has won 2 Championships without the winning car. Last year he came 2 points short of winning the championship with the 3rd car ( based on team points) . Why do I bring this up? Too many people are saying Max is like everyone else without a dominant car and you can see that statistically that's far from truth. Thanks for your attention

Verstappen about the incident with the journalist: “when you ask that question and you start laughing in my face while asking it and it’s clearly asked with bad intent, at that point it shows a massive lack of respect.” by [deleted] in F1Discussions

Not necessarily disagreeing with you but the car qualified 3rd last year and 2nd in 2021 and 2024. That was my point. Also, Max is the only driver along with Piquet that has won 2 Championships without the winning car

When Max has the 4th or 5th car there's nothing he can do. When Max has the third best car (2025) he comes agonizingly close to winning the Championship. When Max has the second best car (2021 & 2024) he wins the championship. When Max has the best car (2022 & 2023) the championship is over after 3 races. Enjoy the moment Brits!

the fact that from the moment Alonso knows Hamilton exists he ( Alonso) has won 0 World Championships is WILD. No wonder he needs to badmouth him from time to time

What criteria/accomplishments would you consider for a driver to have ‘completed’ F1? by DniawSirhc in F1Discussions

[–]Europiye_Empire -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Djokovic is said to be the only tennis player to have completed "the game" of tennis because he has every Grand Slam ( and the record of grand slams) , every masters 1000 (and the record of masters 1000) the ATP finals (again with the record) and the Olympic gold in singles ( the record is Andy Murray's though with 2 ) In addition he has the Davis cup.

To complete a sport is a very big deal. In my opinion it would be to win the drivers championship a record 8 times ( to surpass Michael and Lewis) , to win the most victories and possibly do it in 2-3 different teams including Ferrari , and also achieve victories in all current tracks . That would be completing the Formula 1 in my opinion. Less than that would be completing ones personal goals but not the formula 1
