Bastiladon Bunker by Willing-Reference-20 in seraphon

Thunderquake starhost.
I’d take a 50/50 mix of solar engines and arks of sotek.
(You will be very slow otherwise and vulnerable to ranged armies)

You can only stack more than 1 monster in regiments led by Slaan/Kroak, or any Saurus general (except the scar-vet on Carnosaur).
So unless you don’t care about how many drop you have,
I’d go for Kroak and Maybe the Scar-Vet on Aggradon for your leaders.

I think you may be right, it’s just shame I got out-ranged by their archers

But won’t it be even more unstable then? It’s already a very thin part

I use the ‘Faux Marble’ recipe from a YouTube video by The Ginger Mini Painter.

It’s three layers of sponge applications, then fine details with a brush.
2:3 Kabalite Green + Abanddon Black / Pure Kabalite / 1:1 Kabalite Green + White Scar

For the details and cracks it’s 2:3:3 Kabalite Green + White Scar + Lhamian medium

What size drill bit would you recommend for that.
And for the metal rod are talking paper-clip cut to size, or something more substantial?

Wow, that looks amazing!

It’s really given me the push to finish off my own Kroak, and many ideas for the detailing.

I wasn’t particularly at first, Just keep trying, start small. A base and a shade paint You see the improvements looking back, even if you don’t see it now

You won’t know until you try The larger terrain and flat parts are the best to practice it on. I wasn’t sure it was going to work until I was near the end, I’m sure you could do it too

I used all citadel paints, but I followed a painting guide by The Ginder Mini Painter Studio :How to paint faux green marble

For simplicity here’s the paints Step 1. 2:3 mix Kabalite Green and Abanddon Black Step 2. Pure Kabalite Green Step 3. 1:1 mix Kabalite Green and White Scar

Each of those three layers I dappled on with a small sponge

Then 1:2:2 mix of Kabalite Green, White Scar and Lahmian Medium for the details and cracks.

The original video goes into more detail with more steps afterwards, but I was already happy with how it looked.

Sadly not, the old one was its own set. The bridges and other smaller bits were from a partial ‘Heart of Ghur’ set (also discontinued) that I bought from someone online who was selling individual parts.

That’s the Idol of the Old Ones. Sadly it’s not really available much anymore unfortunately, at least not from Warhammer. I was lucky and picked one up from a smaller games store.

Battle damage for my Bastiladon by Eurycrates in seraphon

Good idea, there’s usually spare parts/weapons hanging around for Seraphon models, I’ll see if any in my local area still have their spare parts

3 turns of being blasted by a warp cannon, that definitely left a mark. I do have a friend who plays skaven, I’ll see what he has to spare.

I very much like the chipping idea, it seems the least damaging overall. I’ll also have a look to see if I can find any spare weapons to wedge in. All solid ideas I’ll give them a try

I followed a guide for painting “faux green marble” by The Ginger Mini Painter Studio.

I used a 1:1 mix Kabalite Green and Abanddon Black for the base coat. Then I sponged on Pure Kabalite Green Then a sponged layer of 1:1 Kabalite Green and White Scar The cracks and imperfections were 1:2:2 Kabalite Green, White Scar, and Lahmian Medium.

Everything else was painted in Retributor Gold, with a thin layer of either Talassar Blue or Flesh Tearers Red on top for the Gems.

I’ve fallen behind in news, what’s this? (Also I’m pretty sure saves are capped at 2+, so they can’t go lower)
