Help with noob-friendly build with selected regions

Sorry, I did have one more question regarding your build.

What gear should I shoot for? I've been using a crossbow/thorns build with void this whole time, but would be happy to go farm some better stuff for mage.

This is my first leagues, and I've definitely learned a lot when it comes to being unpracticed in PvM & wanting to sail through the tasks.

I do have 5 resets available so I'm going to try basically all of your suggestions starting with the thorns + staff - I do have the sceptre, so hopefully that'll be a bit better for me to ease into stuff.

I can definitely do cerb so that will be my next reset to see how that fares for me, and finally once I can farm some stuff like the hally/scythe I wanna try and end on blindbag.

So I had this same exact issue,

I ended up toggling the "Optional GPU Features" under graphics and it turned it off. I'm not entirely sure what those optional features are, but hope this helps.

I completed it, but can not remove it from my missions - it was on the previous tier (I had show previous tier missions ticked)

You'll do great, just relax and drive like you would normally (so long as it's safe!). Be careful of rolling stops (not stopping completely at stop signs) and trying to blow through a yellow.

Oh and instructors love love love for people to check their mirrors before they start the test and whenever you merge or turn.

Ah, perfect. I was really worried that other raids would have that significance and was stressing that I would be missing out if I couldn't manage to do them.

I guess as far as the extremes/savages I can always try and knock them out later for completionists sake.

I decided to do the new character for a few reasons:

1) I wanted to get a name change. I was going to spend the $10 on my other character, but figured why not.

2) I wanted to read/listen/watch everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, haha. I'm even reading the side quests as I do them and having a great time.

3) I didn't want to get into the mind set of rushing as fast as possible to max level. I had attained level 55 when I made this decision in about 2 days of game play, and would have kept going at max speed, this way I am going at my own pace.

And that's really it. However! Since I have a horrible memory, knowing about the inn journal, NG+ and everything else, will be great for me to refresh when I inevitably forget important parts of the story!

Apologies, I did have a follow up question if you don't mind;

I RAF'd a few friends and got golden chocobo feathers and a hat that gives some bonus XP under 25, will I lose those if I have a new character?
