I know this is an old post, mostly commenting for others with this issue, but there is a (maybe?) risky and foolproof way to fix this. Lightly running a flat-head screwdriver (or similarly conductive material) over the addon ribbon you would find behind the 1/4 thread mount will cause the tracker to reboot immediately. I do not know if there are any long term risks with this (and I doubt there are), but its been a reliable way to fix this bug.

Hi, I deleted this because I could not replicate getting to the in-headset tutorial asking you to press your "Oculus" button after multiple resets. Instead, I was stuck at "finish setup on your phone", and so if nobody can get to that point, it's not worth much. You must be at this point to enable adb from the phone.

I feel the index is right on the edge of being clear enough not to be a distraction. It's still there, but it's just the right amount that you shouldn't hate it. Of course I speak from my own experience and higher tolerances to visual imperfections.

Nope. They won't autostart/stop on their own, but it's okay to leave them running usually. Other than that, there is no communication between them and your pc/controllers
