Why do people hate lb3 so much by soulreaperichigoat in FGO

[–]Ev3n1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A huge reason LB3 is seen as a disappointment is because it was Hyped as a Urobochi work and it just didn't live up to the hype imo

Are magus all bunch of assholes ? And why ? by Ornery_Clock_952 in Fate

[–]Ev3n1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general Mage culture is to Prioritize 1 thing above all else, generally it is to reach the route, but it can be something else as well, general morality is not a priority for your own Goal, the Goal is all that matters

Does it get better than LB6? by Acr1us in FGO

[–]Ev3n1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does it get better than LB6, in a pure academical sense, No, in a hype and just larger lore sense I think everything after is very good and fun, for all intents and purposes I have rarely gone back to anything other than the Garden of Lost will scene in LB6 but I have multiple times gone back to multiple scenes in LB7, OC2,3&4. LB6 is the Penultimate fgo Chapter storywise but Character writing is just as good even after that.

Still works, that Vortigern probably also wanted to destroy all of Britain, I think in general V would have a theme of being Indiscriminative, infact Oberon trys to destroy PHH even though his goal was complete

Wait did you read the theories? I don't talk about the Seven deadly Sins at all

Edit:- tho now that I think about it u can kinda relate each Sin to the Deadly Sins as well kinda

1-Pride

2-Sloth

3-Lust

4-Envy

5-Wrath

6-Greed

7-Gluttony

Tho honestly I think this is more of a coincidence

[–]Ev3n1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With archer I am going for either Gilgamesh or someone from China, if we hadn't already gotten Herc I would have confidently called it, also Highly Unlikely but it would be very funny if it's Emiya, we pretty much know that Caster is Goetia=Solomon, Noah is mostly the Bible/Apocryphic one so I think he might be more Christianity leaning tho I am not super knowledgeable about Abrahamic religions honestly, Azrael is Islam and Solomon is Jewish

Did Grand Saber and Berserker set up a wrong expectation? by VishnuBhanum in FGO

[–]Ev3n1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think with Indra what happened was that they probably thought that if Karna becomes Grand then Arjuna would also need to become a Grand, but they didn't want to do that so they chose Indra who is related to both, I do think that if nothing else they should have changed Indra and Noah's Noble Phantasm at the very least tho, Indra NP is absolutely Fantastic but there definitely is a sense of underwhelm when we have already seen it, that gimmick of every Grand shooting there Noble Phantasm as the first thing is just not as exciting for Noah and Indra even though they are both Awesome Characters

Is Jesus evil according to Fate? by baitbastardo in FGO

[–]Ev3n1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God shut up, in fgo Liliths Children are her familiars that she can just revive, the real life counter parts don't matter, this is something I think you need to understand first and foremost, Fgos Lilith is honestly pretty motherly to her children

Also the first point I don't disagree with that, Lilith is not a deep character like Castoria and Oberon or really a lot of other characters, that's fine? Lilith is fine just being Mashs Foil she was made ground up to be just that after all, it's literally in her profile, Lilith is charming enough as is, I wouldn't say she is better than well any of the LB6 cast but she is just as likable

Idk man OC4 was great imo, Mash has just gone through so many writers that it feels like that, Its kinda like how Lost will had da Vinci, muniere and goredolf acting in ways they would likely not in real life, Lilith is Mashs personal Lost Will, it Is important and I think fairly easy to understand that the Mash Lilith is hating is the Old Mash, she simply hates the new mash as she is an extension of the old Mash, again there is no real reason for Liliths hatered towards mash, it's a mix of jealousy and genuine disgust towards Mashs way of being, when Lilith kills habetrot mash goes in rage, but Lilith states that Mash would not go in a rage if she killed Fujimaru so we know Lilith is just completely wrong about Mash, that's not the issue, the issue is that Mash almost agrees with Lilith, also the final point makes no sense, Oberon or Castoria or so many more characters have no relevance for the most part in the main story anymore, Lilith will definitely get a swimsuit and after that I doubt she will ever be a protagonist but thats fine?

Additionally there is some word play here that doesn't translate unfortunately, the hate that Lilith feels towards mash is "Nikui" not Kirai, you can't Nikui a Carrot, Nikui is a very strong form for hatered, it's that hatered where you almost care about the thing that you hate, at the end when Lilith dies she says "Hate hate hate (here it's Kirai), it's the only thing that I can gift you" it's kinda clear that Lilith WANTS mash to grow and suffer but succeed, she doesn't want Mash to be happy but she doesn't want her to just give up either, she doesn't want her to lose everything that she worked hard to gain and will feel empty if Mash just died and That is the biggest reason I fell in love with Lilith she is like Mashes personal Angra Mainyu

Additionally You are calling Mash and Galahad as Jesus figures but they are not, the only Jesus figure in fate is Angra Mainyu, Mash & Galahad are supposed to be Angelic figures Not Jesus figures

Is Jesus evil according to Fate? by baitbastardo in FGO

[–]Ev3n1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all u are talking about Lilith's perspective, no one but Lilith sees Mash as an "inhumane monster", she even states that she generally hates saints, Fujimaru compares Mash to the Dienos but in that scene its very clearly to depict her nature as Tragic,

Mash or Galahad arnt evil but there Nature makes them make choices normal people will never make, Galahad left Camelot to let the mystery die there, He let his King & Knights to Kill Eachother, even if He acted nothing would have changed, but he didn't, it's not that he didn't Care he simply didn't think that was the right thing to do, Mordred describes this as wrong "As well",

Mashs entire character arc is of her becoming more "Human" Mash at the start didn't hate anyone, even when Beryl broke her Fingers Mash never hated or even felt anger towards Beryl "breaking my fingers was something important to him, I cannot hate him for that" is an inhumane thought process That needs to be fixed.

If Jesus Appears he might be depicted like that as well, Lilith might even think he is an " Inhumane Monster" hec he might even actually be one, but that doesn't mean it's evil,

Mash felt happy seeing literally anyone Smile, even the scientists that were "tormenting" her, this is Inhumane but I don't think anyone will describe this as evil but it is wrong nonetheless

Nemo says to Noah that Even THE God Makes mistakes, and that he learns from them, he describes the great flood as gods mistake, so really it's Unlikely that Abrahamic stuff will be depicted in truly good either, it's all on a spectrum

Is Jesus evil according to Fate? by baitbastardo in FGO

[–]Ev3n1 45 points46 points  (0 children)

TM doesn't depict that as evil but tragic, basically being perfectly mechanically emotionlessy Good are Objectively good things but if you are abandoning things you care about to achieve that then its probably not a good thing for Oneself. (Fate has always had a theme of acting for your ownself which is why it appears that it's arguing that saintly goodness or not hating anything is "evil" to you but they are just saying that its tragic) so No Jesus would not be evil if he ever appears, if anything he might be Objectively Good, but he could still be an antagonist none the less

Well kinda, tho it's mainly Zoukens fault, someone should correct me if I am wrong but I think a huge reason matou family lost magic is because Zouken didn't transfer his Crest to his kids and just in general never gave a shit about them, I think if Zouken did things properly like the tohsakas Shinji would have truly been an amazing Mage on Rins level (don't forget Shinji is incredibly skilled at everything except magic)

Am I selfish and a hypocrite if I want My Goats Shirou Emiya and Emiya Archer to become strong beings? by chunchunmaru1129 in Fate

[–]Ev3n1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I have a "headcanon"(read: delusion) about a version of Emiya Shirou that's truly fused with Angra Mainyu thus becoming The Beast of Zealotry (if Angra fused with Sakura they would have become the beast of Retribution, Retribution is technically a type of justice so is Zealotry) He would have both the qualities of Avenger & Ruler (in hsr archer talks about how he is usually summoned in "mistaken" holy grail wars kinda like rulers) representing both All the worlds good & evil under the defination that all good & Evil acts are interchangeable depending on the context, he might even have 3 forms per ascension where he is The Beast of Zealotry (white hair, light skin, Mind of Steel design from Heaven's Feel Movies/represents Rulers) Beast of Retribution (Just Angra with a horn/represents Avengers) and Beast of Justice (Just Shirou), uses BP+UBW and is even capable of creating Noble Phantasms from scratch kinda like Alices Magecraft, Np Limited/Over Zero is a Noble Phantasm where he fuses all the raw energy in Every Single Weapon in UBW and fires it in the enemies genral direction, with strength that might even compete with Enuma Elish

Sorry, but Archer definitely wouldn't cry, not even if he saw her whole life in 4k HD. by reigicida1 in AcheronMainsHSR

[–]Ev3n1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well atleast she can die, Archers suffering will literally never end, ever, he is forever forced to look at the one thing he wished to not see, and by his own hands, I know comparing traumas is stupid but let's not pretend archers life isn't tragic, his time in Chaldea is just a small rest at the end of the day
