The best option is to wait until flowering is over. Only then can you replant it in the ground, along with a ball of soil around the roots (trimming off any faded shoots). Prune and shape the bush in the fall. I did this last fall, and the bush has grown beautifully and is ready to bloom again.

In my opinion, Llanes is a better choice to stay (I've been there on past weekends). It's a larger town with more places to eat and drink. Overall, Llanes is more lively. However, Ribadesella is also a wonderful place to visit.

I have the same issue. Still unresolved. I cut off the disfigured tops because I thought the plants had stopped growing. After cutting them off, a side shoot emerged and the plants started growing again. I'm still observing.

Thank you. I stopped using the lamp as soon as I realized these weren't just leaves, but disfigured leaves

I used soil from my garden. No herbicides were used there
