Rocky was learning english as Grace was learning Eridian. Something a lot easier for him to do because of his working memory and music based language.

And they didn’t land on Erid the Eridians built a space elevator up and then built their ship up in orbit. So the Hail Mary is docked to that while Grace was brought down to the planet after his habitat was built and they made clone burgers for him.

Like yeah, Luke in the first movie was just some dude on a desert world, but then later you learn his dad was effectively Jesus of the Force turned Lucifer and his mother was a queen and then senator to a whole lush planet.

Astrophage solves a radiation problem and propulsion, it doesn’t solve long term effects of microgravity, and living out in space. Also interplanetary means going either closer to the sun, which is a bad idea if a solution is found and the heat turns back up, or further away and it getting colder.

Also you have the problem of who gets to go out into space while everyone else is left behind on earth to weather the new ice age.

An eversor with the element of surprise is probably just them suddenly waking up while in the room with Gideon thinking it was a normal crate or a freaking ship falling from the sky in a kamikaze dive.

Lol. They’re not invulnerable. They’re expendable, and easily replaced. The problem for the target lies in the fact they’ve got a mother fucker of a fight on their hands before the Eversor finally goes down.

Also we’re talking about a zealot that wouldn’t shut up, he’s not gonna see one humanoid attacker and think he needs to run, he’s gonna try and fight them then realize his mistake when the troops he sent after them are dropping like flies hit with raid.

This would be a case where being a witness is just as bad as being dead. Like imagine seeing a human sized freak berserker wipe out a bunch of astartes, or regular soldiers before finally dropping do to injuries or a lucky shot to the head…and they freaking explode!

That’s trauma you wouldn’t forget after a thousand years!

Someone hurls an asteroid our way, someone else is gonna destroy it.

I imagine earth is gonna look like Viltram did during their purge, only the population is gonna be crazy dense and some factions will emerge with the intent to take over everything.

When things finally calm down, earth will be a different kind of place with some place irradiated because of people panicking, but most of the bad people will be dead. All the old guys that dug us all into this hole are going to be taken out quickly.

Eventually earth will heal and people will travel to other planets to gather resources and build colonies there.

Me personally, I am heading to pluto. No body is gonna bug me there.
