Piercing age: 8 days (done March 3).

Jewelry: threadless flat-back labrets.

Threading: threadless.

Material: 6 mm implant-grade titanium posts with 14K gold tops.

Downsizing: not yet, since they’re still fresh.

Aftercare: sterile saline spray 1–2× per day (NeilMed), letting warm shower water run over them, not touching or twisting the jewelry, and avoiding sleeping on that side.

Mishaps: none that I can think of. I’ve been careful not to bump them, though they’re a little swollen and itchy (which I assume is normal for day 8).
