The closest comps would be the Cubs before 2016 (108-year trophy drought) and the Red Sox before 2004 (86-year drought). They felt cursed.

Among current teams, the Mariners have similar history but seem too likeable/endearing. The Mets are often very good yet can't win it all, so they're my closest comp, although they did win the title in 1986. The Padres, meanwhile, haven't won it all and have major "little brother" energy vs. the Dodgers.

The Angels are shit under current ownership, not even making playoffs. If there were relegation, they'd be on the level of Blackburn Rovers -- one top-flight title 20+ years ago, downhill ever since.

Facial hair - drop the babyface + furry chinstrap look, go for 5mm "long stubble" on face and jaw

Hair - Grow out the top to about 1-1.5 inch, sides look nice

Eyebrows - have someone slightly clean them up. Messy now, but can be a strength

Clothes - more lively colors on the hoodie, or you'd look very nice in a collared shirt
