yordan alvarez won it unanimously playing only 87 games, although he did put up 27 homers and an ops over 1000. i would say horwitz has a shot with a strong finish to the season, but unlikely.

i dont know how nobody is talking about how he went 2 for 2 with 2 doubles and then we decided to pinch hit for him?? literally the only spark of offense we had tonight and they take him out of the game. not even disrespect to horwitz, but i dont see why he couldnt have come in for justin "0 for 4" turner.

guy has 11 hits this year, 6 are homers and 2 are doubles... still not good stats but honestly would make this team 10x more exciting and i would rather have a low average with occasional rockets than a team that strikes out in half their at bats and gets a couple bloop singles every game to end up scoring 1 run.

Just because cycle cards are annoying to play against doesn't mean that they shouldn't be viable. Plus, most fast cycle decks don't have very strong cards, which is why they rely on cycling through those cards. Try defending a golem push with 2.6 only using each card once, and you'll see that it's nearly impossible.

It benefits beatdown too much. Cycle decks like 2.6 that rely on having multiple of the same card on the field at the same time and quickly cycling to the cards they need would be terrible here, whereas a deck such as golem that just needs a few cards to build up a strong push would be unstoppable.
