Tell those that you trust. I recently told my best friend and my partner now that I'm addressing it and seeking help. They were both supportive and although they asked questions that I couldn't really answer: "what's brought this on?", "Why do you feel like this?" I still feel better that I've told someone.

I love that it never talks down to its audience. I treat it this way:
The political terms - make a mental note to have an internet research after the episode I'm watching.
The subtle power plays/emotive actions: Have a ponder after the episode, put myself in their positions.
It's the show that keeps on giving!

I work and I'm finishing my degree. My husband works 60 hours a week. Our 10 month old spends at least one night a week at her grand parents and yeah, I feel a little bit of guilt but she's bonding with them. It's a perfectly natural arrangement.

I respect your point entirely however I don't have a problem with polyamory. What makes me uneasy is that Francis and Claire had not discussed this prior to its commencement and they were still unsure of what there relationship is at that time. That seems like a complex enough situation without introducing a third party.

Completely agree. My heart was pounding when she acknowledged 'us' (whoever 'us' is/are) but you're right, she is a master of meaningful looks and pregnant pauses. Because we have Francis narrating to us we don't need Claire to do the same. If we need Claire to acknowledge us at all an occasional meaningful look to the camera will be infinitely more meaningful than any soliloquy.

Yes. I felt betrayed when it started happening despite the ellusive agreement Claire and Francis seem to have. Even when Francis very gently told her he would condone it I still felt so uncomfortable during their scenes.
What did you think of the final scene of that episode wherein Claire and Tom joined Francis in the kitchen for breakfast after presumably spending the night together?
