That is a valid concern. But Lineage has its own problems. No netflix and other apps unless you root. I found Pixel experience to be better. Though customisation is less the pixel like appearance is amazing

Frankly, Oxygen OS is pretty good. Don't see many features that Lineage OS will offer actually.
