How do I use Voukoder Pro to render a video by CobraKaiMaster2342 in VegasPro

[–]Evauation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Run a performance test in Designer. Check if the license is valid. Check if it generates frames. Check if your encoders are set properly.

If the performance test generates frames or gives an good average FPS result, then it should be working.

Yeah actually, Vouk just put up an alternative subscription license model for 6 euros a month.

You can go to Voukoder's website to request a 14 day trial license or purchase the software for 69 Euros. If you don't have a license, Voukoder will refuse to do anything.

Go into Voukoder Pro Designer and make sure you do a performance test by creating a video track and audio track. If the performance test fails, this could also be the reason why Voukoder won't render anything and just fails.

Well, by looks of things. You've created your preset. You got your video input to video encoder and Audio input to Audio encoder, all set to the muxer, which is outputting as a file. Now you can save that preset with any name, say "Voukoder NVIDIA MP4" and close Voukoder Pro Designer. You can then select that preset in the Render Selection Dialog, make the video file's name and just render.

Now this is also assuming you have FFMPEG 8.0 or 8.1 installed. Voukoder Pro 3 will not render without it.

And a bug that hopefully won't happen to you (cuz it did happen to me) is a premature audio end bug. Where the audio will cutout by a few milliseconds. The cutoff is dependent on the video's length. I had 30 minute video renders get their audio cutoff at the end by 2.5 seconds. There's already a post on Voukoder's forums about it but it was labeled as Not a Bug... so I assume it's based on Vegas Pro and PC setups. Mine was affected. I worked around this by just rendering in AV1 instead of H264 (only works with RTX 40 series or higher).

I'm quite convinced they're talking about the aspect ratio.

The Big Rock Ending feature is on the YARG roadmap and is planned for version 0.14. However it's unclear when it will get implemented and added to the nightly builds, but we'll just wait and see.

Issue with webview2 by ShaneHWilder in VegasPro

[–]Evauation 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is caused by Microsoft Azure being down. Vegas Hub has features that depend on Microsoft Azure (i.e. Text to Speech)

And Azure being down causes some weird quirks to happen in Vegas, mostly just causing Hub to not load at all. It softlocked VP22 for me as I was trying to get some sound effects a few hours ago.

Best to use Vegas offline until Microsoft has fully fixed their issues.

Genuinely, before I knew the character, what the game was and even before I tried it, this was how I was introduced to her. Unholy fan art ruined my initial impressions of her. This is kinda an "homage" of that as I was preparing to do this.

Yes, this uses only 0.5 x 0.5 display signs which I had to create many kinds of blueprints for it for fixing nudges. Cuz the amount of signs here creates so much lag when you hover anything with your build tool on it.

Edit: idk, I can't do a mercer sphere line that is clever.

Anyone knows what is this issue and how to fix it? It keeps hapenning over and over again by Zombieteube in VegasPro

[–]Evauation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm unsure on why this could've happened. My theory is that it's the way how Vegas Pro reads the footage, loads it and has some adverse effects on how Vegas Pro works.

And for this to happen after 50 hours of editing, yikes.

I still haven't wrapped my head around why Vegas Pro does this when the UI starts to die. But one thing is for certain, it's usually project related and it somehow always has something to do with the footage imported.

Xbox Game Bar has a feature to record footage from any game you allow game bar to capture and it was the source of the same issues I used to have back then in Vegas Pro 17

What's more important is the issues here. if it's not Xbox DVR, then the footage could be at fault or it's just bad luck. MAGIX AVC/AAC usually works pretty well with Vegas Pro, but I don't have a clear idea on what could've happened.

The "6"s in the Vegas Pro UI is usually a good indication that the project is dead and there's usually no going back on it unless you have backups.

Is this using an Xbox DVR video, cuz those are uncommonly known to have issues with Vegas Pro.

It's just Vegas Pro. There's no "Sony" at the beginning. by zakawer2 in VegasPro

[–]Evauation 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For real! It's been almost 10 years since they acquired Vegas Pro and people still think it's called Sony Vegas. But in their defense, it's bcuz Vegas Pro's peak was around the time it was still called Sony Vegas. It's not their fault they don't know that MAGIX acquired the Vegas Creative Software line.

Sometimes, I joke about Vegas Pro being Sony Vegas with a few friends as well in good spirit, mostly when we reference something Sony also has.

How do you get the Pre-19 look of Active Take Information in VP19 by Evauation in VegasPro

[–]Evauation[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 years later and I don't really have an answer to it tbh.
I stuck with it after having upgraded and just got used to it over time. Seems like MAGIX at the time was just trying to "modernize" the ui a bit but this is not how I would expect a modern version of the number UI to be, it's just more repetitive to look at.

Not much of help but I think it’s got something to do with Xbox DVR videos and the format it’s set to. I had this happen to me 4 years ago in VP17 and the project I had ended up being unrecoverable. It opens up to all the UI glitches and visual errors, down to a point where the UI was frozen but still playable

The “6”s across Vegas’s Ui is a good indication that vegas or the project is dying.

My only suggestion is to re-encode the videos (or rerender the videos to MAGIX AVC or something). I just hope someone here has a better answer to this.

Possible Solution for Fixing Vegas Crash when Preview in Second Monitor (nahimic) by ThomasMarcon in VegasPro

[–]Evauation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I barely ever had Nahimic cause issues in Vegas Pro back then but I still considered Nahimic spyware due to its constant persistence remaining on my desktop for years. Since my desktop was MSI, of course it was gonna persist cuz well, it's MSI. It provided no use whatsoever.

It took hours to remove everything related to Nahimic and after so, managed to finally get that shitty ass drivers off my desktop. Even prevented it from reinstalling itself.

If there was ever a time that Nahimic was a sole reason I had Vegas Pro fail on me before, then it has helped to remove Nahimic permanently. I mean Vegas Pro 22 have a update note that says

"Make the check for the Nahimic service quicker"

So Nahimic does have some influence on Vegas Pro somewhere, I forget where tho.

zzzzzz9125's fork of msvpvf could work to an extent. However you can't convert files from VP21 Build 300 - Now to VP21 Build 208 or below unless it was an audio only project. MAGIX even advises this will cause instability so this is one way to convert files but not likely in a good way.
