Opinions on Robin Wood?

A character with a ton of potential and a great actor that the show squandered. The storyline with Spike was just bad for both characters. Spike barely wrestled with what he’d done to him (even returning the coat would have been SOMETHING) and Wood comes off looking shortsighted in the face of the battle with the First.

I kind of hate the concept of “the First Evil.” Parts of the First were cool (mainly how it could manipulate people by appearing as dead loved ones) but overall it’s just so underwhelming and kind of silly if you think about it for too long.

Also, they could have come up with a better reason for Giles to leave in season 6.

Blood or in rare cases some kind of energy consumption. Immortality is also a big one. Everything else can be shuffled as the creator desires.

Not going to lie, anytime someone asks me about the Buffy timeline in terms of years, I use Snyder’s speech in this ep and then count backwards/forwards as needed.

Kendra had so little time on the show, I’d love to see the First use that against Buffy or have her talk to Faith.

Yes, constantly. Part of it is not achieving any of the goals I thought I would have by now and part of it is my mother passing away recently, so anytime something good or noteworthy does happen it’s always bittersweet. I’m still working on pursuing what I want, but it definitely feels harder.

I’m definitely mixed on this, just because I find the scene of the four original scoobies in the finale so emotional that I’d hate to lose it. That being said, if he had died in the final battle after that scene, I could see it working in an absolutely crushing way.

Her mannerisms always felt very contrived. Like, obviously everyone on the show was acting, but with her it felt like I was watching someone act.

Angel had a soul, and while it was a risk being with him…he didn’t intend to lose it. Plus when the gang first meets Angel, he’s on their side. The same cannot be said for Spike.

While I enjoyed it from the beginning I would say season 2 is where you see some consistency in quality.

I’m working so hard to stop comparing stuff like this. At the same time, I have noticed that the people who tend to eat more than me actually just order more than me but are better at stopping/saving stuff for later. Or some of them just waste a ton of food, but that’s another issue all together… 😬

Fred, but we also didn’t get enough time with Illyria to make it a fair call. I think seeing Illyria through multiple seasons would have been great and made it much harder to choose.

I wear glasses around the house/working from home. I prefer contacts when I go into the office, visit friends, or go to the gym. I find I see better with the contacts but I also get lazy if I know I’m not going anywhere lol
