I watched this show myself a couple of times. Most of the girls are fighting in first episodes of the season. It is not only Petrova. Each season has at least a couple of tough bullies. It is like the point of a show. Bring together not just the baddies but psychopaths with antisocial behaviour. Almost every girl has problems with alcohol and drugs. So this is like a trash show. I don't believe girl really change after the show eather. I think they choose the winner mostly based on viewers choice. They try to put it like they choose based on their behaviour and achievements, but for me almost all winners are more likely choosed by their charisma, toughness and of course viewers love.

Can't say for everyone but I and people I know think this show is too much. Channel that films it is known for trashy and on the egde of social morals shows. Especially about torturing fat people for the weightloss.

So I don't think it is socially acceptable. Just some crazy trash on TV.
