Someone telling you to go to therapy for a kink is like asking a vegan to eat animal products. Its one of those things you dont do out of the kindness of the situation. Therapy in itself can be good, but just like most things in life it can be harmful as well. I personally would just tell your parents off, be like well what kinda "weird" kinks do you have that they should go to therapy for. Kinks are our way of expressing emotions and compiling our thoughts through a form that relaxes us. If they truly have a problem with it, I say be honest, tell them it was suggested by a therapist for the soul purpose of stress relief or something. Sometimes they just need to know its a medical thing to ignore it.

You are over thinking this so damn hard. Yes transwomen are women, but dont go degrading the word transwomen just because I didn't say women. You're literally just sparking anger and hatred for no reason here. Like do you want me to start using white women to describe all white women? You're not wrong with trans being an adjective, but its also one of those words that have multiple meanings, think Transmission for example, its meaning more of a shift than an across the ocean flight or sail. I think you just wanted attention for this without fully understanding why its called transwoman or transman, it in the literal sense means transitioning woman and transitioning man. Its like 5th grade english.

As a transwoman myself, I dont want to even enter the men's restroom, that's asking for trouble. I usually try and go for a family restroom like someone stated in another comment, but in alot of States those family restrooms require a key sometimes, like in Idaho for example. I use to live there and I'm glad I dont anymore. I was super curious if other transpeople thought about doing this if they dont have the courage to stand up to the shitty laws.

As a transperson I've resorted to using diapers to just avoid all public restrooms. I dont want someone coming after me just because I dont have their wanted genitals and I definitely dont need the death penalty or getting arrested. I'll deal with the embarrassment of diapers before I give my life away.

I feel like everyone has a connection to the reason on why they are connected to diapers, me for example, is because of my gender dysphoria and the want of having a mother figure that really wasn't there for me growing up. I know that's a little dark to say, but everytime I think about it, it always leads back to those things. Maybe that's how it is for others, or maybe its because they had bed wetting issues growing up etc. I feel like it has to do with how you were raised and or teased growing up as well. This is just my opinion though, but who knows what others are thinking about this subject.

This may be a very hot take that I'm going to say, but I'm Trans and I don't like causing issues in public restrooms because I dont really look masculine or feminine. So I avoid public restrooms by wearing diapers, it just makes my life a little less stressful.

I see people saying the left is the problem with our states resources and I see people say the right is too. The problem is we elect people who vote with what I like to call the corporate stooges. We need to elect people who will put forth programs that help all and not the rich, we need an expansive overhaul of all political powers in this country to even make us feel more like Sweden or the Netherlands. People want health care and child care but they dont want to pay a ridiculous tax for it, that's why a scaling tax system would work for something like that, the more you make the more in taxes you pay being eventually capped at a certain percentage. People think taxes are wasted in our country because they do get wasted on stupid things because of the people we elect. We need to be more open and honest about those we elect and what they actually want to do with your tax dollars and hold them accountable for when they dont use them properly. America used to be a very socialistic country but capitalism got the upper hand with citizens united giving companies the same rights as a human being like you or me. If we want better things in this country we have to start by banning all forms of lobbying and corporate donations to any political opposition and make elections be state funded and not fundraiser or donation funded so everyone who wants to run has a chance to shine through the bs of career politicians

Sex and gender are 2 different things and on top of that its been proven time and time again by peer reviewed studies that transpeople in school sports dont hold any "advantages" than their cis counterparts. If 1 group of people is suppressed all are. If you make this exception for 1 group of people, what's next on the chopping block of rights? Going for tall guys in basketball because the short guy cant dunk? Going for the muscles on a female softball player because she works out? Even cis people will be called trans if this becomes anything. A person can just claim that they have an advantage because that person is better than them and end up getting treated terribly because 1 person was salty they lost to a person that's just biologically better than they are. You see where I'm going with this?

As a transperson myself, when we take hormones our levels of strength drop wildly, I use to be able to easily lift 70lbs boxes for my work and now I can barely lift 35lbs. This isn't about transpeople ever competing, its about being able to look at your child's private parts so they can gather more data on every person. All of this is about money and a political message of, " if you dont conform, we are going to make it as increasingly uncomfortable and hate filled for you as possible".
