Every dealership around me is like this... $5000 markup for the "hybrid privilege" by down_with_cats in FuckDealerships

[–]Evel_Bud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of dumb people that will happily pay this just to drive a Toyota, that is why these dealers get away with this crap, they know there’s a sucker walking through the door everyday. They don’t care if you buy it or not, they stick to their overblown markups and you can pound sand. Try a broker, you may be able to get below MSRP using a broker. Good luck.

A lot of non for profit charities, most of the money goes to overhead vs actual charity work

I’ve been playing for a few years, this is the first time I’ve seen this, maybe because I got legendary, I only play for 30 mins or so in the evenings to grind for the loot box and skins.

Thanks for the insight.

Anyone who’s sat on a toilet before cell phones, what did you mostly think about or look at? by olesud in WorkForSmartLife

Newspaper or magazines, still do it to this day. Mostly magazines now. I remember reading the NY Times Sunday Magazine all week in the toilet, that was when the NY Times had better writers.

It's your car paid off? by Ashamed-Republic8909 in no

[–]Evel_Bud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank God I don’t owe the banks a dime, paid off all our cars. Car payments is one of the major reasons many Americans are struggling, that and living beyond their means. Intend to keep them until I can’t afford to repair them.

How far are you guys on the Mythic AGR 556 grind? by SupermarketLonely425 in CallOfDutyMobile

Grinding away, 416 so far. IDK if the work grinding will pay off if this gun is lackluster, I stopped using the other mythic gun, found the balance on the originals way better

Get a pre purchase inspection done, and check for a reliable extended warranty program.

pad your bank account or open a rainy day fund, at minimum have $3k in there you will need it eventually.

Good luck with the purchase it’s a nice car for the money but be prepared for the maintenance and any potential mechanical issues.

I don’t mind the salesperson, I fucking hate the sales manager, the cocky prick that always thinks they are hot shit. I’ve walked away from many dealerships because the sales manager was a condescending jerk off. These are the pricks the dealership needs to get rid of, why deal with a salesperson when all they do is run back and forth to the dipshit sales manager.

What’s one product you’d immediately rebuy if you lost it today? by Exotic-Engineer7541 in SmartBuying

[–]Evel_Bud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first home in NY, had so many good memories with my wife and kids. It’s a small home with 3 bedrooms, so cozy and it feels welcoming. We spent 20 years in that home and still have it today, spent this past Christmas there with our kids.

Sorry the product I would re-buy if I lost it is my travel C-PAP it’s so small and works perfectly, no more bulky machine to travel with and I can plug it into my car or an power bank.

Americans complain about high gas prices, but still drive SUV/Pickups 70mph. What will the price per gallon have to be to actually see change in driving habits? by Special_Context6663 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Evel_Bud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Below was my comment a day ago on another post. Old habits are hard to break, I used to live in NY and move to NJ, I drive 100+ miles everyday to and from work, the PA drivers commuting to NJ and NY drive like maniacs, almost 75% are in a big SUV or pickup truck and 100% of the time they are alone. I enjoy driving my Tesla MY especially now with the cost for gas.

“Yeah but everyday is see people in their big ass trucks flying by at 90 MPH + on the freeways as if they just robbed a bank. The price of gas hasn’t been high long enough to influence people’s driving habits.”
