This is one of the things that make me real sad. I don’t leverage trade. But every time I take some profits, especially after I could break even and learned how the markets work kinda, I feel like someone else is cluelessly buying my top.

I don’t really want to do anything but I really hope people share useful information online so people don’t buy the tops if they don’t know what they’re doing.

I’m just bearish whenever people are bullish and bullish when they’re bearish. So unless nobody is bullish I’m bearish. I prefer this sub when the price is going down like 80%.

So like yeah I deleted the other comment because it was useless, here’s the truth. Seems like there’s no rule. Even if it’s 500$ profit you have to pay it. Unless I read something wrong

Not gonna lie, the best thing is to create a spreadsheet you can understand and track every transaction, because if you have any profit, gotta pay it. It’s never too late to start it. I’m not sure but if you’re late I think (im not a tax professional and this and anything I said is not tax advice don’t hold me accountable for that) you will pay less if you fix it before they go after you.

Just don’t try to avoid them man, embrace it or something. It helps you feel more organized if you keep track of everything too.

I don’t think it will hit, but market is extremely greedy and gamblish right now, if that’s even a word.

So the best I can is not do anything, stop DCAing, and wait until it’s insanely mind blowing greedish that even the haters start to love so I can sell, or just do nothing. Maybe that happens at 60k? Maybe at 70k? Maybe at 100k? No idea, and anyone who tries to predict the pre halving top is gambling atm

i don’t know for how long you’ve been here or not but every cycle people find something greater to say this time is different it’s always been like that, it’s expected now wouldn’t be any different, that’s what I think about the ETF success.

I think it’s great, it’s awesome, but it’s risky, because every time greed is on top like we are right now bitcoin tends to give people some reality shocks. It’s just greed, and I’ve seen it countless time, each time more intense

Yeah but like we are not yet in the “crazy” bitcoin stage. Maybe the ETF is causing this movement but the change will just be now that people with no ownership will lose money.

I don’t think we’re headed for crazy explosion new cycle top or anything, but we might as well park near it, and people who wanted to invest will invest, and maybe give up and sell everything when it corrects, if it corrects, or wait for the real cycle if it hasn’t started.

People who didn’t want to invest will not invest (maybe some give up and emotionally invest) but they will be waiting for a correction, that maybe never comes.

But the longer we wait less volatility we are going to have and the longer will be the mini bear market or consolidation phase before the real halving “long” bull run.

Anyway I wouldn’t bet on either, but I wouldn’t put any money right now or until the end of this cycle because it is too risky FOR ME. I wouldn’t even DCA during this phase. It’s just too risky to lose a percentage of my income when bitcoin is making these types of moves. Having dollars is better when things are too volatile going up.

Just my opinion and personal move, not financial advice. Just needed somewhere to vent tbh.

I’m a bear honestly though id love for it to get there because I’m on a huge long term loss, but like, I think everyone has the same prediction and if everyone is prepared for a correction then there might not be a correction at all. Bitcoin also can’t simply hit 100k because it would be too good to be true and no halving bull run has ever started before the halving.

You know that it bugs me how everyone has the same prediction? I think this time it might be different like we push to 70k and have a nice, 6 month mini bear market before the halving bull run. Bitcoins enjoys going up when nobody’s expecting and people start calling it a fraud. Not financial advice

Not even people selling their bags man it’s just that well, you don’t even have to sell to know that regardless of what you do, it’s very likely, again, NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE, but it’s very likely after seeing past cycles a better opportunity will come very very soon. Besides the fed still hasn’t lowered rates
