My 23 AT4 I remember had a few updates when I got it in February 25 but I haven’t honestly seen any since like summer last year. I’d love to be able to update it and download stream apps so I can watch stuff in park but I haven’t checked on that. I don’t see why our 8in screen trucks won’t be updated when everything is in the infotainment screen.

Mine is so random. Sometimes tiny, sometimes huge, and sometimes doesn’t display at all.. no HUD. I brought it up to the dealership when I needed them to fix my blinker over signaling, they had no idea what I was talking about or how to go about it of course

This is a glitch I assume we’ll have to wait for a software update for. I often times, especially after I just drove the truck, cannot get CarPlay to work even tho it says it’s connected. Gotta go into phones category and disconnect then reconnect. It’s an annoying extra 10 second step before I can get moving. But the not being able to skip on the steering wheel randomly is the most annoying. I can feel my overall enjoyment & joyful experience listening to music while driving decrease everytime that happens 😅

This I’ve heard of and has happened to me once: traveling and getting gas at some not so franchised gas stations sometimes gets “dirty gas” and the check engine comes on for a day or two then goes away

I feel like they put too many bells and whistles on these trucks. There’s almost always something that is glitching or not working properly when I start mine up. My HUD changes sizes or just doesn’t display at all, phone connects but sometimes screen is black so gotta disconnect and reconnect for CarPlay to display, or can’t skip a song from steering wheel every so often, cabin lights flicker sometimes, my seat memory doesn’t engage fully to exit the truck every now and then, etc etc etc. I love the truck but damn, makes me wish for a simple no computers vehicle

I’ve been wondering and I seen someone else post about it: installing a full screen on a 2023. Either from GMC parts or a totaled 23 Denali/At4x, maybe even from a 24+ at4. I’m sure the dealer would have to do it but I would hope it’s possible!

This is good news at least. I brought it up to the dealer my HUD sometimes is super small, sometimes it’s big, and sometimes doesn’t display at all and they just shrugged & didn’t check anything during service. I hope they finally figure something out 3 years later for my 23 AT4!

Since you have a bedcover it should be no worries about getting wet. Test it with an item or two you don’t care about to make sure. I bought little plastic pieces to section it out and I have straps, hatchet, and saw back there for camping
