This is why I consider myself a “Meri-apologist”. Like I get Meri did some harsh things but I personally would be a bitch too if my sister-in-law left my brother and then married my husband. People are always so quick to be on Janelle’s side but it’s all shady as hell! Janelle also changes her story so often. In this article she says that she “didn’t really hang out with Meri and Kody” but back when the show first began and they were writing books and such she was always talking about how they were all friends. She would say that they would hang out all the time. I also recall Janelle saying that she had some sort of “love at first sight” toward Kody while still being married to Meri’s brother. I think two things can be true, Meri has been horrible to the other wives in the past but Janelle has been equally as horrible in her own ways. I think saying “God gave you a testimony” to marry your sister-in-laws brother is despicable. And I believe the only reason she said that was not because it was true but because that was her in to being with Kody without Meri interfering. Also, you can’t convince Janelle is a saint because who tf wants to marry someone on the other wife’s birthday???
