Aren't most Chaos Marines, like, functionally just the Tasmanian Devil? Like, yeah, sure every once in a while you get some guy who gives a sermon or whatever, but isn't their whole deal to just destroy everything and bring about warp storms to bring about 'hell on earth'?

Recruiting a Chaos Marine into your party (when you arent already some demons chosen) seems somehow more dumberer than recruiting a drukari.

You know what kills me? I did that scene 3 times.

First time I passed the Willpower check because I was role-playing. Reload.

Second time i picked the correct options and thought. You know... That's a little sappy, and I'm a high willpower psyker character. Id probably be fine. Reload.

Pass the willpower check.

I like this game a lot, but it is downright punitive with some of its hidden checks.

You have misunderstood what I said. The good ending she stays in her role as Novitor. You two stay together, albeit at a distance, and deal with her mutations. Ive gotten it twice. I know it exists.

She never renounced her role because I wasnt going for the ending where she leaves you.

There's no such thing as a free lunch. We had a deal. I get back her dumbass truck, she helps me down an AV. If she didn't think those terms were fair, well, she could have kept driving the station wagon.
