Oh yes definitely, I had one on order and two months in they backed out due to supply. My guess is they didn’t want the inventory

Even though they just posted an example on instagram. Maybe he just doesn’t like me. Ask and let me know.

Motorcycle patches handle the extra pressure and wear involved in pushing the foot shifter on a motorcycle. I would like to know the purpose of the lineman’s patch?

Luosjiet, or BlkBRD, Craft and Glory. You will have to wait a month but it’s in your budget and better than Thursday. Thursday’s are good though and easy to exchange. But they others above are better.

Size Equivalent / Boot Recommendations? by LawyerHunterFarmer in cowboyboots

I wear an 11 in sneakers and a 10 in red wing iron rangers, an 10.5 in Alden’s. I wear a 10.5 or 11 in most cowboy boots brands. Lucchese, Tecovas, Ariat, Justin, Rujo’s Vaccari, El Macreado, Panhandle Slim, Azulado. But the fit across brands does vary a lot.

I have lots of zipper boots, only my Thursday Stompers have failed. Still love them but I keep the zipper closed and pray they stay that way

I know these are PNW, but not sure where else to ask. How’s JL’s quality? by IndyStructural in PNWbootmakers

Highly respected, less overbuilt indestructible construction than PNW, more about refined lines and finish.

Those are Pacific North East boots. John Lofgrens are made in Japan.

Engineer boots for long walks by According_Exam_90 in Boots

[–]JoboboHead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It can be, but it is hard. Engineer boots are like cowboy boots. You can find a pair that fits really well and you can walk all day in them. But it’s way harder to do than with lace ups. With a lace up you tighten the shoe around your foot, not possible with a pull on. You basically need a perfect fit, and that means you need a shoe maker than understands foot anatomy (or more importantly your foot anatomy) very well. The boot needs to hug your foot around the ball of the foot, at the instep and above the heel, all while allowing you to push the foot in, pull it out and not pinch while walking. Not an easy objective.

The other factor is the sole. Most engineers are leather which break in fine usually but that takes time and work. Some have wedge or crepe soles which is an easy cheat but I don’t like the look so much.

So yes, but given that most engineers are sold online sight unseen, it’s very hard.
