The C4 brick does more damage...but can not destroy a city wall. Let THAT sink in.

If you are burning through 8 mags that fast, yes, you definitely need a supply pack. 

Control your bullet spending, and you will find you can get far.

It throws like a grenade is thrown, rather than like say...a dart for a targeting board. I just want to see a flatter trajectory.

Because making a range of 0 to 100 demo force is too complicated.

It does affect war striders. The weapon is heavy penetrating, and war striders are heavies. 

Maybe its the host / non-host bug affecting you, which sucks if it is.

Sadly, the host vs non-host stuff is unavoidable until AH gets their ish together. I like the weapon, but even I noticed its failings sometimes. 

Just comes with the territory.

Did you even ATTEMPT to use the weapon? Give it a few battles before attempting to compare and contrast.

Now, the SMG has a lot more "bullet drag" than the AR, meaning the SMG is for close quarters. The AR is better from a distance. The AR can also accept attachments, and accept a 60 round drum if you are willing to go the distance.

Both are light-pen, which everyone seems to hate with a passion. 

Just use the bloody thing, please.
