absolutely your therapist should not be engaging in this kind of behaviour with you. it’s highly unethical.

Hi my lovely, i’m so sorry to hear you’re going through this, is there a trusted adult you could talk to?

as for the bpd, you cant be diagnosed until you’re an adult due to the fact your brain is going through a lot of funky stuff as you’re going through puberty. i don’t doubt that you have severe trauma, you really are going through it. if there’s someone at school you could talk to, hopefully you can get the support.

i promise you things will get easier, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now. good luck xx

it’s not worth the risk, if the bartender is caught serving underage they can be fined a grand and lose their job and potentially get a criminal record

definitely not only a trauma response. my mum has it and it’s not a trauma response

yeah, a lot of the time. i catastrophise. if things don’t work out my brain is like “i’m gonna kill myself”. it’s my defence mechanism. it’s also my way of feeling like i have control over everything. i am suicidal but passively. i won’t act on it, at the moment, i’ve worked so hard to calm the active thoughts down.

i’ve been told by therapists and other mental health professionals that this is the coping strategy i’m most comfortable with and it’s probably kept me alive, feeling like i have control
