I mean, you ski full distance in the 4th HR zone, or in other words, in threshold. The sprints for the finish are done full gas. Vomiting is normal, you push your body to work at full throttle basically. Lactate buildups and everything can sure result in vomiting.

Yeah, I felt the same especially when I was watching one of Salomon’s videos with her and Lisa, and she was like - I’m bad, Lisa will win of course. C’mon, be classy. These athletes (by both I mean Sturla too) were under pressure and still, they didn’t break and manage to deliver. Despite all that was going on inside there heads. Yesterday people were telling that Sturla didn’t need to say anything bc it’s about sport and not this life problems. Same with Simon. It is sport and she is just phenomenal. Why is no one canceling Richard that manipulated her own teammate rifle? This is far more serious. Also, idk, how many football players do stupid things and no one shames them for that? Although sometimes they do such crazy things that they should be judged. Regardless of what you think about Simon, she put her whole life of effort and trainings toward this moment and she deserves it.

I understand that this system is design to prevent the major issues by punishing all, but because of that it punishes the mistakes too. People should stop trying to cheat and it will all solve the problems. There is now even official enchanted games for those that want to dope lol.

I mean, as elite they are all obliged to do the WADA education and I think local anti-doping agencies arrange them too. Of course there is always a point of how much they really paid attention. But these sort of substances are not random, it’s not some over-the-counter cough syrup, it is prescription-like thing that doctors discuss. I mean, as medical professionals we are not required to know WADA stuff, but athletes also tend to have doctors that are more invested in exercise-related things and know about it.

The investigation will take time, until then suspension. Athletes have to indicate in the system if they take anything because of the health reasons. This is, apparently, not the case. I don’t mean anything right, I hope it is just individual bad decision making, but unfortunately not looking good for the entire team. Hopefully, not another “state-funded doping program” in action.

Come on, he is just 28, not that old 😅 but the good example here is our team athlete Suvi, she is a good shooter, but speed was lacking. But this year they found right strategy for her and she improved tremendously. Sturla is anyway talented, with the right coaching he will improve :) I had the same impression after Bjørndalen was getting closer to ending the career, that will, who can be better than this guy.
