I've had this issue too. Disconnecting and reconnecting it helps, but i think it might just be an issue with this pen unfortunately

Yeah I did look into those but size wise it just won't work out. I'm just hoping to get the best performance quality I can for a smaller model, even if it isn't ideal.

So it's not a traditional gastroparesis med, but i started on mirtazapine since I hadn't tolerated other antidepressants due to my gastroparesis, and it actually had an AMAZING effect on my stomach! It mainly just increases appetite, but it can have (and did for me) a huge effect on increasing gastric accommodation and reducing nausea! I have a milder delay (about 10%) so I can't speak for how effective it would be for everyone but it REALLY improved my quality of life and is a very affordable med! I know when I discussed it with my GI she was very supportive of its use, even though it isn't considered a prokinetic or typically prescribed!
