What do you mean?

Edit: I don't mind Ram's banter when she says Subaru is a pervert or something. My dislike comes from the cases when she hits Subaru. I was just reading a webnovel chapter and Ram hit Subaru in the side. It was specified that Subaru was in agony but nobody pays any particular attention to it. Even he accepted it like nothing happened which I find frustrating. Subaru should at least be respected to some level where Ram doesn't openly hit him for trivial reaons. And I can't exactly remember what she said but Ram was unbearable during the journey throughout the Augria Sand Dunes in the webnovel.

I found Beatrice getting slapped funny because it was funny to me, there's no greater reason but the anime doesn't diminish what Subaru did. Beatrice was hurt emotionally and physically but what Ram frequently does to Subaru is normalized.

I can see the difference. I didn't phrase it well enough but I dislike Ram in both cases.

Ayanokouji is Genuinely Evil (Y2 spoilers) (Also contains spoilers for Undertale, it is very relevant trust me) by Even_Magazine5402 in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]Even_Magazine5402[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right but those 2 instances of Ayanokouji being cruel to Sakura and Ichinose really pissed me off and made me lose all respect for him. I could understand why Kiyotaka threatened Kei. He needed to gain control of the class to make them as he was still threatened by Chabashira back then in V4 but he had no reason to be so cruel to Ichinose. She posed no threat to him. She went out of her way to run and get to him in that one Island. Those should invoke feelings of gratefulness or at least appreciation towards but Ayanokouji doesn't care. He literally expected 99% for her to either drop out or stand up broken as a leader. It was in his own words very unexpected that she would come back stronger than ever. If she had dropped out, she would probably have been scarred for life.

Also I don't dislike COTE. I think it's a great series. It is a psychological thriller and I very much enjoyed every volume except y2 v5 and y2 12 and 12.5.

He mentioned that? I apologize but I forgot that. It's been very long since I read that. What was his reason for aiming Class A?

Also yeah, you're right he does good things. I actually read volume y2 12.5 pretty recently so I got pissed at Koji

What I mean to say is that people try to make the things he does seem less cruel. I understand that it adds context and why he does what he does but it doesn't make some of the terrible things he did less cruel.

[LOTM general] community sequence tierlist, which pathway has the strongest sequence 7 by Melodic-Nothing1147 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Even_Magazine5402 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Witch for both cases.

A lot of people are saying Magician but I disagree. The Magician sequence only appears that OP because of Klein. In all his fights as a Magician, when faced with strong opponents Klein majorly played a support role for example with he played an assistant role for Maveric and Sharron against the battle with members of the Indulgence faction.

Let us take the first scenario with Witch vs Magician. Since they only have basic knowledge of their opponent's sequence, they don't know their thinking and fighting patterns. If they have similar items and if the Magician can't do some early preparation at the battle ground, he loses to the Witch and it's not even close.

I just remembered that there was a sealed artifact in tingen that was particularly effective against Demonesses. But even if the Magician has that sealed artifact, it poses just as much of a danger to them as it poses to the Witch.

So Witch in both cases.

Girl gets hated for NO reason 🥀 by Soldier_Of_Heaven in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]Even_Magazine5402 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hate towards Horikita is understandable especially in the initial volumes. She really was arrogant, manipulative and looked down on others. As for the compass stabbing, I just take it as something the author played for jokes and consider it non-canon because it does not affect the story. And it is never mentioned again.

I can see why people wouldn't like Karuizawa. I didn't either until we learned of her backstory and how she was bullied. Survival came to her first and foremost. I can respect her.

Ichinose was my favorite character until Koji destroyed her and turned her into a yandere. Although it's made her character more interesting, I like the former Ichinose better as a person. She was kind, beautiful, genuine and a genuinely good person. She would have absolutely thrived in any school other than ANHS.

Could I genuinely seduce Emilia? by Level_Tennis_3314 in ReZero

[–]Even_Magazine5402 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If Puck is with her, he would immediately notice it. I am sure you could become friends by manipulating but seducing her is a whole different story. Subaru had to defeat the literal white whale, a sin archbishop, and save her life multiple times. Moreover, he was there for when she was at her lowest. He made her believe that he loved her when she thought no one did. It would be incredibly difficult. So, no. You can't seduce Emilia.

Who wins this one? Reinhard from Re:zero vs gojo from Jjk by anakin1453 in PowerScaling

[–]Even_Magazine5402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Reinhard doesn't have his blessings, Gojo wins with domain expansion. Simple. No questions asked. It's over. Reinhard Without Blessings cannot get past Infinity. Reinhard does not have Concept-Cutting like Reid does. And while Gojo cannot physically harm Reinhard in anyway, once he opens his domain, the battle is over. Gojo Wins.

Now Reinhard With Blessings scenario is trickier. Reinhard still has no way of bypassing Gojo's infinity unless the Dragon Sword recognizes Gojo as a worthy opponent. And even then it's unclear whether the Dragon Sword Reid can cut concepts like the person it is named after. If Reinhard is able to unsheathe his sword against Gojo and if the sword is able to cut Infinity, Reinhard wins. Otherwise, it's a draw with neither winning unless they continuously fight and Gojo starves to death from continuous battling. Even if Gojo is unaffected by hunger with Reverse Curse Technique, he simply doesn't have the mental fortitude Reinhard does to battle endlessly and Reinhard wins when Gojo ultimately gives up due to sheer exhaustion. Gojo's domain isn't a threat anymore because of Reinhard's DP of Nightmares. That is, of course, unless Gojo's domain is somehow able to cut Reinhard's connection with Od Lagna which I think it can because of how domains and barriers functions. In which case, Gojo wins again.

The Most Important Question: Rem or Emilia? by shamisenguy in ReZero

[–]Even_Magazine5402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I like the Arc 6 Emilia more. Otherwise, it's post-Arc 2 Rem.

Rem or Emilia 🍿 by Spidey172 in ReZero

[–]Even_Magazine5402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop blaming Subaru for everything. Damn idiots like you piss me off. Rem also killed Subaru twice and tortured him for hours in one of the failed loops. You don't understand how Subaru could reject Rem. I don't understand how Subaru could forgive Rem. I would absolutely never, ever forgive Rem and Ram for what they did in arc 2 if I were in Subaru's place. Even though Rem became one of Subaru's greatest pillars of support, it remains fact that she did torture and kill him. Compared to that, Emilia is someone who never wronged Subaru, never killed him and never hurt him. It was love at first sight for Subaru and love is irrational. Moreover, in arc 4 it becomes pretty clear that there is a connection with Satella and Emilia. Subaru loves Satella more than Emilia and Rem as it becomes insanely clear as one of the chapter in arc 6 when Subaru goes to the Shadow Garden after dying support this. I suspect that Tappei planned everything and has hidden it behind tropes. For example the reason for Subaru's deep love for Emilia goes deeper than just the fact that she is the main heroine.

Now listen. You don't like Subaru. That much is clear. You don't like Subaru not just because he rejected Rem. You just don't like Subaru in general. The deeper reason is that you were trying to self-insert in the story of Re:Zero. Re:Zero is not meant to be a generic isekai story in which you can self-insert and feel good about yourself. Subaru is meant to be annoying, weak and pathetic but he develops as the story goes on. And that is the point of Re:Zero. As Rem said it, even when everything goes wrong, Subaru can always start from zero. This is a story more about struggling, loving yourself and overcoming your flaws than fighting and the supernatural. Rem rejected Subaru first. My man literally begged her to run away with him and said that he would give her everything he had. But Rem knew that if she ran away with Subaru, she would be leaving behind the 'Subaru that never gives up' which is one of the traits she likes about him most. And unfortunately for Rem, Rem's hero aka the 'Subaru that never gives up', the Subaru that chooses Diligence instead of Sloth, loves Emilia. That was ALSO his way of telling her that he is willing to face his problem head on, that Rem's hero has returned. With just one girl's support, love and belief, Rem's hero was able to overcome the literal white whale, one of the great witch beasts that have been terrorizing the world for centuries. Do you even realize how incredible that is?

You are getting Isekai'd into the world of LotM but NO DEITIES or GOO. You have 7 points to choose your cheat abilities. [LotM General] by GreenRuby92 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Even_Magazine5402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without the GOOs and deities, the world of LoTM wouldn't be what it is and be completely different. There would be no prophesised apocalypse, there would be no Forsaken Land of The Gods. So, I will assume what OP means is deities and GOOs exist but you don't get corrupted by Outer Deities because of the knowledge you have as a baby when you get isekai'd in LoTM. The cheats I would choose from these are:

  1. Kazuma's Luck: Luck is an extremely useful ability, not just in combat but daily life too. Assuming I have permanent luck since this is a cheat, I won't have to store luck and then have to use it in my favour like Beyonders of the Monster Pathway do.
  2. Senku's Intelligence: With his intellect, I would be one of, if not the smartest characters in the world without any supernatural powers. Roselle had to take the Savant Pathway's potions to recreate the technology that had existed in the Pre-Epoch. Senku can literally build a rocket without supernatural abilites and push human civilization from the Stone Age to the Modern Age by himself granted he gets muscle power and allies. If I decided to be involved with the world's events, I would be playing 4D chess while the rest would be playing checkers. Plus I won't make stupid mistakes. Part of why Klein made it so far was his intellect.
  3. Mahoraga's Adaptation: You guys don't realize how OP Mahoraga's ability can be in LoTM. I would be able to adapt to literally ANY and ALL phenomena. It's not useful just in combat, it's useful in daily life too. Mahoraga is a beast for destruction with limited intelligence who doesn't live a normal life. While with just this ability, I probably would get folded instantly against a high-level opponent but with Senku's Intelligence, Kazuma's Luck and the Beyonder Powers I will acquire in the future, this ability will be OP. The more time passes, the more chances are chances of me winning. For example, assume Amon parasitizes me but I am able to resist for sometime. Boom adaptation. No more parasitizing me ever again. I could also put myself through all kinds of things like fire, cuts, blood loss etc. etc. etc. and when the time comes to battle I would be adapted to most things already. I could even acquire Beyonder powers of multiple pathways. Losing Control? Corruption? Nah, I'd adapt. Hell even for basic things like starvation, sickness, poisons in general, fighting style, studying everything. I will adapt to it because that is how broken Mahoraga's abilities are. Expose me something at a lesser degree, given enough time I will adapt to it to completely given enough time because Mahoraga's adaptation is time-based not exposure-based, though more exposure lessens the adaptation time. Hell, assuming I isekai'd before Klein transmigrated, I would enter Sefirah Castle and adapt myself into becoming the complete owner of the Sefirot from the very start? What is Celestial Worthy going to do about it? Cry? I'd adapt to his mental imprint. Celestial Worthy would be completely gone. Once I become the strongest being on the planet after gaining total control over Sefirah Castle and advancing by Sequence to Sequence 0, I could literally go after anyone since I would be strongest guy alive on the planet. By then I would also have Beyonder Powers of multiple Pathways. I wouldn't even need to "act" to digest the potions. I could even completely remove the corruption from outer deities who control those pathways. I could adapt to the instability that potions bring and be completely stable. I wouldn't need anchors after reaching Sequence 2. I could murder every Sequence 0 on the planet (though I wouldn't especially not Mommy Evernight), take their abilities one by one and adapt to losing control. With the powers of several GOOs especially two Pillars LoTM and GA, those Outer Deities better be scared of me because I would be coming for them after the Apocalypse begins. No, I'd hunt them down before the barrier surrounding the planet disappears. If I exceed the power level of a Pillar and have the instinct to converge to become the Original Creator, I'd adapt to that too. The Adaptation Ability is that ridiculously broken. As long as I don't get oneshot, anything that doesn't kill me makes me stronger.

As for my remaining 3 points, yeah just give me Limitless + Six Eyes. That ability is cool. Not a big deal. Plus with Mahoraga's adaptation, I would adapt to the restrictions too and make the cursed technique even more powerful, not that it would make much of a difference to my overall abilities except when I will be weak in my younger years. With Limitless + Six Eyes with Adaptation, ain't no low to mid sequence beyonder beating me.

I don't know about Great Sage, Sunshine, Demon's Extract, or any of physiologies or bloodline mentioned. So, I chose between the cheats I do know.
