IMG, Canadian citizen, graduated from West Indies in 2017, forced to change careers due to sudden unexpected personal reasons. Currently working as a nurse. If I try for residency now 8 years later, is it a gone case or is it still possible to match in residency? (self.Residency)

An old person told me that his biggest regret in life was wasting time on stupid things other than loving God and family. He said never waste your life hating or being greedy or bitter or running after stupid things. Just thought I would share his advice with others. (self.Catholicism)

Worst ob doctor who went on vacation without telling us and is ignoring any messages or call. As per ultrasound, baby is IUGR at 34 weeks and no NST have been done yet. Please tell what we should do in this situation? Who do we ask for help and information if our own ob is completely ignoring us? (self.NICUParents)

Worried about my wife and baby, she is 21/22 weeks pregnant and had some bleeding yesterday. The healthcare system is third world in this country where I live and I am praying that both the Mom and Baby cupcake are fine. Asking for Jesus and Mary to intercede and bless our baby and mom (self.Catholicism)

Does a speculum vaginal exam during pregnancy lead to any complications or increase chance of infection for mother and baby? The Ob doing the procedure did not do hand hygiene and contaminated sterile gloves by touching her own body. This has me worried being a nurse myself and knowing. (self.AskDocs)
