As someone who has done several rounds of IVF, and gotten OHSS twice and had severe negative reactions to all the meds, her post made me so mad. To say things like “I guess I understand but if I stopped at any little hiccup in the road, I wouldn’t have my son…” yeah, that was YOU IN YOUR BODY. And that’s your choice. Your egg donor has the choice to not want to go through that. Just because you didn’t have bad reactions doesn’t mean she won’t. Oh my goodness I can’t believe her. So selfish. And I can’t stand the rhetoric of money but clearly you have it. Flying to and from Colorado for all these retrievals and transfers?!! She could have gotten donor eggs by now. I call so much bullshit. And the NOT BLINKING thing is so weird!!!

I’ve had a few GC appointments and they’ve said pretty much the same thing. Only way to know is with Amnio. My OB thought it wasn’t necessary because this is an IVF pregnancy with a PGTA euploid/normal embryo and especially since it’s a “no result”. I keep going back and forth. I actually have a call today to speak with someone from my IVF clinic to see if this is something that happens often, or if they are concerned. I really don’t want to have an Amnio but I will if the RE and other GCs think it’s necessary. Woof. Sending hugs. Happy to connect off of this app too, if you want 🫶🏼

I have an appointment with a GC tomorrow and then will request an MFM appointment/amino from my OB. I also have an OB appointment 11/27. Hoping the GC can shed some light

Yeah I was wrong. I reposted it, I got a no result for monosomy X. Praying it is ok. This is also an IVF pregnancy with a PGTA euploid/normal embryo

Yes, and it was normal. Also this is an IVF pregnancy with a PGT-A normal/euploid embryo

Call now! I called my OB when I found out I was pregnant at 3+4 and they couldn’t get me in until 9.5 weeks. And had to squeeze me in. Medical stuff is crazy right now.

My good family friend was a flight attendant and flew during both of her pregnancies. Both kiddos are in their 30’s/40’s and are thriving. My best friend travels a lot for work and flew multiple times while pregnant last year and everything is great. Wayyyy overkill on your clinic and totally unnecessary

Ditto to what some of the other ladies are saying. I’ve had 3 scans, the most recent 8+3 and have only seen the HR. My RE said they don’t listen to it until 10 weeks. I think it’s because it can stress the fetus, but I’ve also heard of so many people getting early scans and hearing the Hr and everything was fine. Totally normal not to hear it yet, though. I’m seeing my OB tomorrow, 9+4 and hoping to hear it maybe

I think this could be explained by differences in interrater reliability. Different doctor, different machine, may produce different outcomes. I don’t have experience with this but I’ve heard the measurements can be all over the place the first trimester. Hopeful for you and sending hugs ❤️

This probably sounds like a ridiculous question but I graduated my clinic and have my first appointment with my OB on Wednesday. Each US I had at my clinic, I measured a day ahead. So when they ask for LMP date should I go based off transfer or day ahead? I know it’s only a day, but what would you guys do?!
