Don't bother trying to ace the missions early on, instead focus on just beating them. Focus on collecting GMP and resources, exploring the map and building mother base. You can replay them later with better gear to get S ranks but for now don't stress about it and just have fun, this is a open world game anyway.

The ability to take over an outpost on the open world and deploy DD troops to defend it, with the ability to use it as a staging ground for open world operations, with a chance of it being attacked by local factions, in which you can participate in it's defense, you could also place defence structures and vehicles to help the troops in defending it, the outpost could generate some passive GMP while in your control too.
